Commercial Pacvac Filters & HEPA Replacements

Q: Why is it important to use genuine Pacvac filters?

Genuine Pacvac filters are precision-engineered to fit the exact dimensions of the machine housing. Cheap aftermarket filters often leave gaps, allowing abrasive dust to bypass the filter completely and enter the motor, which causes rapid overheating and catastrophic engine failure.

Q: What is the Pacvac Hypercone filter?

The Hypercone filter is Pacvac's patented cloth filter that sits inside the vacuum. Its unique conical shape forces air to circulate around the dust bag in a cyclonic motion. This prevents the filter from collapsing inward and blocking airflow, ensuring the vacuum maintains maximum suction even as the bag fills up.

Q: What does a HEPA filter do in a backpack vacuum?

A HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter acts as the final stage of filtration before the air is exhausted out of the vacuum. It is designed to trap 99.95% of ultrafine particles down to 0.3 microns, including dust mites, pollen, and bacteria, vastly improving indoor air quality.

Q: Are HEPA filters washable?

No. Pacvac HEPA filters are made of delicate synthetic fibers that will be permanently destroyed if washed with water. Once a HEPA filter turns dark grey or black with dust, it must be completely replaced, usually every 6 months depending on usage.

Q: What is the difference between a pre-motor filter and an exhaust filter?

The pre-motor filter sits underneath the dust bag and protects the vacuum's motor by blocking large debris and dirt from hitting the fan blades. The exhaust filter sits on the outside of the machine and cleans the air exiting the motor before it is released back into the room.

Q: Do you offer bulk trade pricing for commercial cleaning companies?

Yes. Freshway Supplies provides structured wholesale trade pricing and volume discounts for cleaning contractors, facility managers, and healthcare providers who need to procure bulk quantities of Pacvac filters and bags to maintain large fleets.

In the commercial cleaning industry, vacuum filtration is not just about trapping dust; it is the primary defense system for your equipment's motor and the critical factor in maintaining indoor air quality. When standard filters clog, extraction power plummets, and fine particulates bypass the system, causing the vacuum motor to overheat and eventually burn out. Genuine Pacvac Filters are engineered with advanced multi-stage filtration materials to ensure absolute dust capture while maintaining optimal airflow, allowing operators to clean faster and protecting your heavy-duty machinery from premature failure.

HEPA Compliance & Multi-Stage Motor Protection

Professional environments demand professional air quality. Pacvac utilizes a comprehensive multi-stage filtration ecosystem, including the signature Hypercone filter, pre-motor filters, and high-efficiency exhaust filters. For sensitive environments like hospitals and aged care facilities, upgrading to HEPA-rated Pacvac filters ensures that 99.95% of microscopic allergens, pollen, and airborne pathogens are trapped inside the machine rather than being exhausted back into the breathing zones of patients and staff.

At Freshway Supplies, we distribute the complete catalog of genuine Pacvac consumables. Whether you require replacement Hypercones for your fleet of Superpro 700s, specialized HEPA exhaust filters for clinical compliance, or bulk pre-motor filters, we provide reliable B2B procurement and fast dispatch across Australia.

Filtration Specifications

Hypercone Technology: Pacvac's patented conical design prevents the filter from collapsing inward as the bag fills, ensuring consistent, fade-free suction until the machine is completely full.
HEPA Efficiency: High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters capture ultrafine particles down to 0.3 microns, making them mandatory for WHS compliance in healthcare and clinical settings.
Motor Protection: Dense pre-motor filter pads sit directly below the dust bag, acting as a physical barrier to stop sharp debris and heavy dust from destroying the high-speed fan blades.
OEM Reliability: Genuine Pacvac filters are precision-engineered to seat perfectly within the machine casing, eliminating the air leaks and bypass issues common with cheap, aftermarket copies.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it important to use genuine Pacvac filters?

Genuine Pacvac filters are precision-engineered to fit the exact dimensions of the machine housing. Cheap aftermarket filters often leave gaps, allowing abrasive dust to bypass the filter completely and enter the motor, which causes rapid overheating and catastrophic engine failure.

What is the Pacvac Hypercone filter?

The Hypercone filter is Pacvac's patented cloth filter that sits inside the vacuum. Its unique conical shape forces air to circulate around the dust bag in a cyclonic motion. This prevents the filter from collapsing inward and blocking airflow, ensuring the vacuum maintains maximum suction even as the bag fills up.

How often should I clean or replace my reusable cloth filter?

The cloth Hypercone filter should be taken out and rigorously shaken clean outdoors daily or after every major shift. However, over time, microscopic dust will permanently embed in the fabric pores. For commercial use, the cloth filter should be completely replaced every 3 to 6 months to restore optimal airflow.

What does a HEPA filter do in a backpack vacuum?

A HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter acts as the final stage of filtration before the air is exhausted out of the vacuum. It is designed to trap 99.95% of ultrafine particles down to 0.3 microns, including dust mites, pollen, and bacteria, vastly improving indoor air quality.

Are HEPA filters washable?

No. Pacvac HEPA filters are made of delicate synthetic fibers that will be permanently destroyed if washed with water. Once a HEPA filter turns dark grey or black with dust, it must be completely replaced, usually every 6 months depending on usage.

What is the difference between a pre-motor filter and an exhaust filter?

The pre-motor filter sits underneath the dust bag and protects the vacuum's motor by blocking large debris and dirt from hitting the fan blades. The exhaust filter sits on the outside of the machine and cleans the air exiting the motor before it is released back into the room.

How do blocked filters affect my vacuum's suction?

A vacuum relies entirely on airflow. If your filters are heavily soiled or blocked, the air cannot pass through the machine. This results in a massive drop in extraction power and forces the motor to work significantly harder, leading to rapid overheating and potential thermal shutdown.

Can I use these filters on the Pacvac Superpro 700 series?

Yes. We stock the exact genuine pre-motor, exhaust, and Hypercone filters designed specifically for the industry-standard Pacvac Superpro 700 corded backpack vacuums, as well as components for their advanced cordless battery models.

Do I still need to use paper dust bags if I have a cloth filter?

Absolutely. The cloth Hypercone is a secondary filter. You must always use a disposable paper dust bag inside the cloth filter. Operating the machine without a paper bag will instantly choke the cloth filter with dirt, drastically reducing suction and risking motor damage.

Do you offer bulk trade pricing for commercial cleaning companies?

Yes. Freshway Supplies provides structured wholesale trade pricing and volume discounts for cleaning contractors, facility managers, and healthcare providers who need to procure bulk quantities of Pacvac filters and bags to maintain large fleets.

How do filters extend the lifespan of the vacuum motor?

Dust is highly abrasive. If filters are neglected, fine grit enters the motor housing, acting like sandpaper on the fast-spinning internal bearings and carbon brushes. By replacing filters regularly, you block this grit from ever reaching the motor, extending the machine's operational life by years.

What are your delivery timeframes for Pacvac consumables?

For metropolitan areas, standard delivery for replacement filters and dust bags typically takes 1 to 3 business days. We also offer a highly convenient Click & Collect service from our Arncliffe warehouse in Sydney for urgent consumable restocking.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
