Collection Description
Commercial Roll Towels & Washroom Paper
Managing paper consumables in high-traffic commercial environments requires a strategic balance between user hygiene, dispensing efficiency, and operational cost control. Standard domestic paper towels deplete rapidly in public facilities, leading to excessive janitorial labor and frustrated patrons. Commercial Roll Towels—including Hard Wound Roll Towels (HRT) and Centrepull systems—are specifically engineered to maximize capacity and control usage, drastically reducing overall paper waste in busy washrooms, commercial kitchens, and industrial workshops.
Maximizing Hygiene & Controlling Consumable Costs
Selecting the correct dispensing format directly impacts your bottom line. Autocut Roll Towels operate via a mechanical dispenser that cuts and releases a single sheet of predetermined length per use. This prevents users from stripping excessive meters of paper off the roll, cutting consumable waste by up to 30%. For high-paced environments like commercial kitchens, Centrepull Towels dispense from the middle of the roll through a nozzle, allowing chefs to grab paper with a single hand without touching a contaminated dispenser casing.
At Freshway Supplies, we distribute a comprehensive ecosystem of commercial paper solutions. We stock industry-trusted brands including Veora and Jaws. Whether you require blue food-grade Autocut towels for catering compliance or highly absorbent 2-ply multipurpose rolls for contract cleaning, we provide reliable B2B procurement, bulk carton pricing, and fast dispatch across Australia.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Hard Wound Roll Towel (HRT)?
HRT (Hard Wound Roll Towel) refers to massive, continuous rolls of non-perforated paper tightly wound around a cardboard core. They are specifically designed to fit into commercial mechanical or electronic dispensers, providing high-capacity hand drying (often up to 200 meters of paper per roll) for high-traffic washrooms.
How does an Autocut towel dispenser work?
An Autocut dispenser houses a continuous (non-perforated) roll of paper. When a user pulls the exposed tail of paper, an internal mechanical blade automatically cuts the sheet at a predetermined length (usually 20-25cm). This prevents users from pulling meters of paper off the roll at once, significantly reducing waste.
What is the benefit of a Centrepull towel system?
In a Centrepull system, the paper is pulled from the center of the roll through a nozzle at the base of the dispenser, rather than unrolling from the outside. This allows for rapid, one-handed dispensing without the user ever touching the plastic dispenser casing, making it highly hygienic for kitchens and medical clinics.
Why are food-grade roll towels traditionally blue?
In commercial catering and food manufacturing, blue is the universal color for food-grade paper. Because there are no naturally blue foods, a torn piece of blue paper is highly visible if it accidentally falls into a food preparation area, ensuring immediate detection and HACCP compliance.
What is the difference between perforated and non-perforated roll towels?
Perforated rolls (like standard kitchen paper) have pre-cut lines allowing you to tear off sheets easily by hand; they are usually placed on simple countertop holders. Non-perforated rolls (like Autocut or HRT) are continuous streams of paper designed strictly for mechanical dispensers that cut the paper for you.
Can you flush commercial paper hand towels down the toilet?
No. Unlike toilet paper, which is engineered to dissolve rapidly in water, commercial roll towels and hand towels are designed with 'wet strength' to maintain their structure while drying wet hands. Flushing them will almost certainly cause severe blockages in your commercial plumbing systems.
What is the difference between 1-ply and 2-ply roll towels?
1-ply towels feature a single layer of paper; they are highly cost-effective and allow for massive roll lengths (more meters per roll), making them ideal for standard washroom drying. 2-ply towels bond two layers together, offering superior thickness, softness, and absorbency for heavy-duty spill cleanup.
What brands of commercial roll towels do you stock?
Freshway Supplies distributes proven, professional-grade paper brands trusted across the Australian cleaning and hospitality industries, including Veora, Jaws, and Royal Touch. These brands are recognized for their superior absorbency and reliable dispenser compatibility.
Do I need a specific dispenser for Centrepull towels?
Yes. Centrepull towels will not work on a standard spindle or roll holder. You must load them into a dedicated Centrepull dispenser (which has a funnel nozzle at the bottom) after manually pulling out the cardboard core from the center of the roll.
Can I order roll towels online from Freshway Supplies?
Yes, Freshway’s online store allows you to easily buy bulk cartons of commercial roll towels, Centrepull paper, and dispensing hardware with secure payment and Australia-wide shipping options available.
Do you offer bulk pricing for large roll towel orders?
Absolutely. Freshway Supplies provides structured wholesale trade pricing and bulk carton/pallet discounts for commercial cleaning contractors, schools, healthcare providers, and facility managers outfitting high-volume public washrooms.
What are your delivery timeframes for bulk washroom paper?
For metropolitan areas, standard delivery for bulk cartons and pallets typically takes 1 to 3 business days. We also offer a highly convenient Click & Collect service from our Arncliffe warehouse in Sydney for urgent consumable restocking.
