What type of paving and joint do you have?

Clean across the joints, not down into them
Keep the lance moving and angle the fan so it does not track along a joint or force water beneath an edge. Use controlled overlapping passes across small sections. Avoid the zero-degree tip and take extra care at borders, cut pavers, steps and drains.
A surface cleaner can improve consistency on a flat, stable field when the paver maker, joint system and attachment support it. Test its height and pass speed. An enclosed head limits some splash but does not prevent joint loss underneath.
Should you use chemicals on pavers?

Restore joints after the surface is dry
