Product Description

Agar Sequal Toilet & Bathroom Cleaner (5L) – Commercial Toilet Cleaner

Ensure uncompromising washroom hygiene and effortlessly dissolve severe hard-water scale with the highly dependable Agar Sequal Toilet & Bathroom Cleaner. In commercial shopping centers, public transport hubs, and high-traffic office buildings, urinals and toilet bowls rapidly accumulate rock-hard calcium scale, uric acid, and heavy rust stains. Standard neutral cleaners are completely ineffective against these hardened mineral deposits. This professional-grade commercial toilet cleaner acts as your ultimate restorative solution. Formulated with a highly effective, mild acidic base, it instantly attacks, dissolves, and melts away severe bathroom buildup from porcelain and ceramic surfaces without causing damage.

Engineered for maximum worksite efficiency, the Agar Sequal formulation is a highly viscous, thickened liquid. This critical design allows the chemical to aggressively cling to the vertical sides of toilet bowls and tiled walls, significantly extending the contact time required to break down stubborn stains with minimal manual scrubbing. Furthermore, it is a completely non-hazardous, GECA-certified, and phosphate-free formulation, providing a highly sustainable and safe cleaning option for your staff. Infused with a fresh eucalyptus fragrance, these premium commercial cleaning chemicals provide facility managers and contract cleaners with an exceptionally safe, highly effective tool for daily, professional washroom maintenance.

Who Is Agar Sequal Toilet Cleaner Ideal For?

The Agar Sequal delivers a clinging thickened formula, a mild acidic base, and a safe, non-hazardous profile. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Cleaning Contractors: Utilizing a highly reliable commercial toilet cleaner to rapidly dissolve uric acid and calcium scale in high-traffic public urinals and toilet blocks, ensuring a pristine presentation with less physical scrubbing.
Facility OH&S Managers: Relying on the non-hazardous, non-flammable formulation to significantly improve user safety for their cleaning staff and completely simplify strict chemical compliance requirements on site.
Hospitality & Hotel Housekeeping: Taking advantage of the thickened formula to effectively clean vertical shower recesses and stainless-steel fixtures, while the fresh eucalyptus scent leaves guest bathrooms smelling incredibly clean.
Eco-Conscious Organizations: Deploying premium bulk cleaning supplies that are externally audited and GECA-certified, guaranteeing environmental responsibility and aligning with modern corporate sustainability goals.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Thickened Clinging Formula: The ultimate vertical cleaning advantage. Unlike watery bleach that runs straight into the drain, this thick liquid aggressively clings to the sides of the toilet bowl and urinal walls, providing the extended contact time needed to melt heavy scale.
Mild Acidic Cleaning Power: Exceptional restorative performance. The specialized acid base effectively dissolves and lifts thick, rock-hard rust, calcium scale, and uric acid deposits that standard neutral cleaners absolutely cannot touch.
Non-Hazardous Safety Profile: Protects your cleaning staff. It provides heavy-duty acidic cleaning power while remaining officially classified as non-hazardous, drastically reducing the risk of severe chemical burns and simplifying worksite safety compliance.
GECA-Certified Sustainability: An environmentally responsible choice. The formulation is completely phosphate-free and has been externally audited by Good Environmental Choice Australia, ensuring minimal impact on local waterways.
Fresh Eucalyptus Fragrance: Enhances washroom presentation. It effectively neutralizes the foul, stale odors associated with public urinals, replacing them with a crisp, highly pleasant natural eucalyptus scent.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the advantage of a 'Thickened' toilet cleaner?

Standard liquid cleaners run immediately down the sides of the toilet bowl and into the water trap, severely limiting their effectiveness. A 'Thickened' formula aggressively clings to the vertical porcelain walls. This allows the acid enough time to soak in and dissolve the calcium scale.

Why is an 'Acidic' cleaner necessary for toilets?

Toilets and urinals build up rock-hard calcium scale and uric acid from hard water and urine. Alkaline or neutral cleaners cannot dissolve these minerals. An acidic cleaner (like Agar Sequal) is chemically required to react with and melt these hardened mineral deposits away.

Is this product classified as a Dangerous Good?

No! This is a massive worksite advantage. Despite its effectiveness against scale, Agar Sequal is expertly formulated to be officially classified as 'Non-Hazardous'. This makes it significantly safer for cleaning staff to handle daily and greatly simplifies OH&S compliance.

What does 'GECA-Certified' mean?

GECA stands for Good Environmental Choice Australia. It is a strict, independent auditing body. This certification guarantees that Agar Sequal is environmentally preferable, utilizing sustainable, phosphate-free ingredients that minimize harm to ecosystems.

Can I use this cleaner on stainless steel urinals?

Yes. Because it uses a 'Mild' acid base, it is highly effective at removing scale and rust from commercial stainless steel urinals and washroom fittings without causing the severe pitting or blackening associated with harsh industrial hydrochloric acids.

Will this remove black mold from my shower?

While it is an excellent bathroom cleaner for soap scum and calcium, it is not a dedicated mouldicide. For severe black mold in grout lines, you generally require a specialized chlorine-based mold remover (like Agar Chloradet).

Do I need to dilute this product before using it in a toilet?

No. For cleaning toilet bowls and urinals, you apply the thickened liquid neat (undiluted) directly from the bottle under the rim of the bowl to ensure maximum clinging power and chemical strength.

Does it have a strong chemical smell?

No. Agar Sequal completely avoids the harsh, suffocating fumes associated with heavy bleach or strong industrial acids. It features a highly pleasant, fresh Eucalyptus fragrance that naturally deodorizes the washroom.

Can I mix this acid cleaner with bleach?

Absolutely NOT. You must NEVER mix any acidic toilet cleaner with chlorine bleach. Doing so instantly triggers a highly dangerous chemical reaction that releases toxic, life-threatening chlorine gas into the washroom.

Is this product safe for properties with a septic tank?

Yes. Because it features a highly biodegradable, non-hazardous, and phosphate-free formulation, it is generally safe for commercial and residential septic waste-water systems when used as directed.

Where can I find the Safety Data Sheet (SDS)?

The official SDS for Agar Sequal Toilet Cleaner is linked directly in the product description above. It provides comprehensive safety, handling, and compliance instructions for your facility management records.

Do you offer trade pricing for facility management companies?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for commercial cleaning contractors, hospital housekeeping teams, and facility managers ordering bulk washroom chemicals. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
