Product Description

Powershot D12 Quick Connect Foaming Lance (1L) – Snow Foam Cannon (18960-D12)

Revolutionize your commercial vehicle detailing and equipment wash-down process with the high-performance Powershot D12 Quick Connect Foaming Lance (18960-D12). Standard pressure washing alone often fails to break the static bond of heavy road film, meaning operators are forced to physically scrub the paint, which introduces severe micro-scratches. This highly advanced snow foam cannon completely eliminates the need for harsh physical labor. By heavily aerating your chemical detergent, it projects a massive, clinging blanket of thick foam. This foam actively sits on the vehicle's surface, drastically increasing chemical dwell time to dissolve heavy dirt, grease, and salt before you even begin to rinse.

Engineered for unparalleled convenience and commercial durability, this unit features a highly advanced D12 Quick Connect coupler, allowing you to instantly snap the lance into your pressure washer's trigger gun in a single second. The massive 1-Litre chemical tank provides ample detergent capacity to completely blanket large commercial trucks or multiple cars without stopping. Fully adjustable, it features dual controls allowing you to perfectly dial in the water-to-chemical ratio and adjust the spray fan width. Rated to handle a formidable 2300 PSI and 20 Litres per minute, these essential commercial pressure washer parts are the ultimate, labor-saving addition to any professional detailing arsenal.

Who Is This D12 Quick Connect Foaming Lance Ideal For?

The 18960-D12 Foam Cannon delivers massive foam generation and instant plug-in capability. It is highly recommended for:

Automotive & Marine Detailers: Utilizing a heavy-duty snow foam cannon to perform a highly protective 'touchless pre-wash', ensuring abrasive dirt is lifted off the paint before a wash mitt ever touches the car or boat.
Commercial Fleet Washers: Covering massive semi-trailers, buses, and heavy earthmoving equipment in a thick blanket of heavy-duty degreaser rapidly, drastically cutting down wash times.
Kranzle & Powershot Operators: Upgrading their rigs with premium commercial pressure washer parts featuring the highly specialized D12 Quick Connect system for instant, one-second accessory changes.
Industrial Facility Cleaners: Applying clinging, foaming disinfectants and heavy sanitizers to tiled food processing floors and abattoir walls without bending or scrubbing.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Thick, Clinging Snow Foam: The internal brass aerator mixes high-pressure water with your chemical to create a thick, shaving-cream-like foam. This maximizes chemical dwell time, breaking down dirt effortlessly.
D12 Quick Connect Coupler: Designed with a premium quick-release plug. It snaps perfectly and securely into commercial trigger guns utilizing a matching Quick Connect socket, completely eliminating slow screw threads.
Fully Adjustable Spray & Mixture: Features a top dial to control the exact mixture ratio of chemical to water, and an adjustable front nozzle that switches the spray pattern from a narrow jet to a wide, sweeping fan.
Massive 1-Litre Tank: Features a high-capacity, heavy-duty plastic bottle. It holds enough diluted detergent to foam an entire large commercial vehicle or several standard cars without needing a refill.
High-Capacity Industrial Rating: Built to easily handle the brutal demands of commercial pressure washers, safely processing up to 2300 PSI of pressure and a massive 20 L/min flow rate at temperatures up to 60ºC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of a foam cannon?

A foam cannon aerates your detergent into a thick, sticky foam. This foam clings to the vehicle instead of just running off the paint. This gives the chemicals the required 'dwell time' to break down dirt, so you can rinse it off without heavy scrubbing, which prevents swirl marks.

What does 'D12 Quick Connect' mean?

D12 is a highly specialized, heavy-duty quick-release system often used by premium brands like Kranzle. Instead of screwing the lance onto your gun, you simply pull back a collar on the trigger gun and snap this D12 plug straight into it in one second.

Will this fit my domestic Karcher K-Series?

No. Domestic machines use proprietary plastic push-and-twist bayonet fittings. This foam cannon uses a commercial-grade metal D12 Quick Connect plug and is designed for industrial petrol or high-end electric washers.

Can I adjust how thick the foam is?

Yes. This foaming lance features an adjustable dial on the top manifold. Turning this dial regulates exactly how much water mixes with your chemical, allowing you to adjust the foam from a watery soap to a thick, heavy shaving-cream consistency.

Can I adjust the spray pattern to reach high roofs?

Yes. The front plastic nozzle can be twisted to change the spray pattern. You can open it up for a wide, flat fan to cover cars rapidly, or close it into a narrow, powerful jet to shoot foam onto high truck canopies.

What kind of soap should I put in the 1L bottle?

For the absolute best results, you must use a dedicated 'Snow Foam' automotive detergent. Standard dish soap or cheap car wash liquids do not contain the specific foaming agents required to create thick, clinging foam.

Can this handle hot water?

Yes, the heavy-duty internals and the plastic tank are rated to safely handle hot water extraction up to a maximum temperature of 60ºC, making it perfect for aggressive commercial degreasing tasks.

Is 2300 PSI enough for my petrol washer?

2300 PSI is the maximum safe operating pressure for this specific foaming lance. If you are running a massive 4000+ PSI industrial machine, you must throttle down the pressure or risk blowing the seals inside this unit.

Will a 20 L/min flow rate restrict my pressure washer?

No, 20 L/min is a very high-capacity flow rating. It ensures that even massive commercial pressure washers will not be bottlenecked or restricted when pushing water through this foamer.

Do I fill the whole 1L bottle with pure soap?

No. You usually only put about 100ml to 200ml of concentrated snow foam soap into the bottle, and then fill the rest of the 1 Litre tank with warm water to dilute it before spraying.

Does it require maintenance?

Yes. To prevent the internal brass aerator mesh from clogging with dried soap, you should always run clean water through the lance for 30 seconds after you finish foaming your vehicle to flush the internal components.

Do you offer trade pricing for mobile car washers?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for automotive detailers, commercial fleet cleaners, and facility managers. Contact us to establish your trade account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
