Product Description

Makita 40V Max XGT Brushless Cyclone Stick Vacuum (CL003G Range)

The Makita 40V Max Brushless Cyclone Stick Vacuum delivers market-leading extraction power in a highly portable, cordless format. Powered by the heavy-duty 40V Max XGT platform, its advanced Brushless motor generates a formidable 20kPa of maximum sealed suction and an airflow of 1.0m³/min. What sets this model apart is its integrated cyclonic filtration system, which effectively separates larger debris from fine dust before it reaches the filter. This drastically reduces filter maintenance, prevents suction loss, and makes waste disposal effortless.

Designed for professional facility maintenance and commercial cleaners, the vacuum features a certified HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of airborne particulates down to 0.3 microns, ensuring superior indoor air quality. Operating at a remarkably low 65dB on its highest setting, it minimizes disturbance in populated environments such as offices, retail spaces, and hospitals. The intuitive 4-stage push-button control panel allows operators to perfectly balance suction performance with battery runtime, achieving up to 25 minutes of continuous high-performance cleaning when paired with a 4.0Ah battery.

Ideal For:

Commercial Office Cleaning: The cyclonic action maintains strong suction over large areas, while the 180° swivel neck provides exceptional maneuverability around desks and chairs.
Retail & Healthcare Facilities: Ultra-quiet 65dB operation and HEPA filtration allow for daytime cleaning without disrupting customers, patients, or staff.
Facility Maintenance: The pipe-lock system securely fastens the extension wand for rigorous daily use, and the cyclonic capsule makes emptying dirt fast and hygienic.

Key Features:

Advanced Cyclonic Filtration: Separates large and fine particles, extending the life of the HEPA filter and maintaining peak suction power.
40V Max Brushless Motor: Delivers high-output, continuous commercial suction (up to 100W / 20kPa) without the restrictions of a power cord.
4-Stage Suction Control: Push-button selection (100W, 60W, 35W, 15W) featuring a Mode Memory function that recalls your last used setting.
Certified HEPA Filter: Provides a high filtration rate of 99.97% to safely trap microscopic dust and allergens.
Ultra-Quiet 65dB Operation: Re-engineered airflow and vibration control result in incredibly quiet performance, even on the maximum setting.
Pipe-Lock System: Secures the wand firmly to the main capsule to prevent accidental detachment during heavy-duty cleaning.
Integrated LED Worklight: Illuminates dark spaces under furniture and serves as a convenient low-battery indicator.

Available Variations:

CL003GZ11: Tool Only (Skin) - No batteries or charger included.
CL003GM107 Kit: Includes Vacuum, 2x 4.0Ah Batteries (BL4040), and 1x Rapid Charger (DC40RA).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the benefit of the cyclonic filtration system?

The cyclonic system uses centrifugal force to separate larger, heavier debris from fine dust before it reaches the main filter. This prevents the filter from clogging quickly, maintaining strong suction power and reducing maintenance time.

Does this vacuum use disposable bags?

No. It features a 440mL bagless cyclonic capsule. You simply remove the container and empty the collected waste directly into a bin, eliminating the need to buy replacement bags.

How loud is this vacuum while running?

It is exceptionally quiet. Thanks to redesigned airflow and vibration control, it operates at just 65dB even on the maximum suction setting, making it perfect for occupied commercial spaces.

What kind of filter does it have?

The vacuum is equipped with a high-efficiency HEPA filter. It provides a 99.97% filtration rate, ensuring that fine dust and allergens are safely captured inside the unit.

How long will the battery last?

When using a 4.0Ah battery (BL4040), you can achieve up to 25 minutes of continuous runtime on the maximum power setting. Using lower suction settings will significantly extend the runtime.

Can I adjust the suction power?

Yes. The vacuum features a 4-stage push-button control panel, allowing you to easily toggle between 100W, 60W, 35W, and 15W of suction power depending on the surface you are cleaning.

Is the wand secure during heavy use?

Yes. It utilizes a secure Pipe-Lock system that locks the extension wand firmly into the capsule, preventing it from accidentally twisting or falling out during rigorous use.

Is the vacuum heavy to operate?

No, it is highly portable. It weighs only 1.1kg as a bare tool, and approximately 1.9kg with a BL4025 battery installed, drastically reducing operator fatigue during long shifts.

What does the LED light do?

The built-in LED worklight illuminates dark areas under desks or furniture, and it also flashes to act as a low-battery warning indicator so you know when to recharge.

Does it remember my suction setting?

Yes, it features a Mode Memory function. When you turn the vacuum on, it will automatically start in the same suction mode that was active when it was last turned off.

What comes in the box with the tool only version?

The CL003GZ11 (Tool Only) comes with the standard 330mm sash nozzle, a sash nozzle holder, an extension pipe, and a low-profile floor nozzle.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
