Professional Kress Cordless Trimmers & Lawn Edgers

Q: Are Kress 60V cordless trimmers as powerful as petrol trimmers?

Absolutely. Kress’s 60V Commercial Series is explicitly engineered to match and exceed the high-torque cutting power of equivalent 30cc 2-stroke petrol engines, but without the extreme noise, intense vibrations, and toxic exhaust fumes.

Q: Can I use a metal blade on my Kress line trimmer?

It depends on the specific model. Heavy-duty 60V Commercial Brush Cutters are explicitly designed to be compatible with rigid steel brush-cutter blades for clearing thick scrub, brambles, and saplings. Standard residential grass trimmers should only be used with nylon line.

Achieving razor-sharp lawn edges and maintaining vast commercial nature strips shouldn't require dealing with the severe vibration, deafening noise, and toxic exhaust fumes of a 2-stroke petrol engine. Kress Trimmers & Edgers are revolutionizing commercial landscaping. By utilizing the advanced 60V CyberSystem and commercial-grade brushless motors, Kress delivers the massive cutting torque of petrol with the push-button convenience and sustainability of modern lithium-ion technology.

At Freshway Supplies, we are an authorized B2B distributor of the complete Kress outdoor power equipment range. Our inventory features high-torque 60V Commercial Brushless Line Trimmers designed to slash through thick brush and heavy weeds, alongside precision Cordless Lawn Edgers engineered to carve perfectly straight trenches along concrete driveways and garden beds.

Stop wasting productive labor hours on flooded carburetors and engine maintenance. Equip your grounds crews with Kress’s ultra-reliable, zero-emission technology. Enjoy highly competitive wholesale trade pricing, expert platform-matching advice, and rapid, fully tracked delivery to landscaping depots right across Australia.

The Kress Edging Advantage

Petrol-Equivalent Torque: The 60V commercial brushless motors generate massive rotational force, allowing you to run heavy-duty twisted trimmer line through thick, wet scrub without bogging down.
Zero Emissions & Low Noise: Operate safely and quietly in residential neighborhoods, hospital grounds, and school campuses without violating noise ordinances or emitting fumes.
Intelligent Load Sensing: The internal microchip automatically detects grass density, dynamically adjusting the RPM to maximize cutting power in thick weeds while conserving battery life in light grass.
Commercial Durability: Built for daily abuse, Kress trimmers feature reinforced aluminum drive shafts, heavy-duty gearboxes, and advanced anti-vibration systems to protect the operator.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a line trimmer and a lawn edger?

While both detail a lawn, they perform two distinct functions:

Line Trimmer (Whipper Snipper): Uses a rapidly spinning nylon cord horizontally to cut grass around trees, garden beds, and fences where a mower cannot reach.
Lawn Edger: Uses a rigid, vertical steel blade and a guide wheel to cut a perfectly straight, deep trench between the grass and a concrete pathway or driveway.

Are Kress 60V cordless trimmers as powerful as petrol trimmers?

Absolutely. Kress’s 60V Commercial Series is explicitly engineered to match and exceed the high-torque cutting power of equivalent 30cc 2-stroke petrol engines, but without the extreme noise, intense vibrations, and toxic exhaust fumes.

Can I use the exact same Kress battery across all my Kress tools?

Yes. The Kress battery ecosystem is fully cross-compatible within its voltage class. A Kress 60V battery can be instantly swapped between your 60V line trimmer, 60V lawn edger, 60V blower, and 60V chainsaw, drastically reducing the number of batteries you need to purchase.

What does a 'Brushless' motor do for a line trimmer?

A brushless motor removes the physical carbon brushes found in traditional electric motors, entirely eliminating internal friction. This highly advanced electronic system allows the trimmer to run significantly cooler, spin at much higher RPMs, and deliver up to 50% longer battery runtime per charge.

How do I feed more line out of the Kress trimmer head?

Most commercial Kress line trimmers feature a highly convenient Bump-Feed Head. While the trimmer is spinning at full speed, simply tap the bottom spool housing firmly against the ground. The internal spring mechanism will instantly release a measured length of fresh nylon line.

What is 'Intelligent Load Sensing' on Kress trimmers?

This is an advanced battery management feature. The microchip inside the Kress trimmer continuously monitors the resistance against the cutting head. If you move from light grass into thick, heavy weeds, the motor automatically ramps up the RPM and torque to power through, then lowers the RPM when you return to light grass to save battery life.

Can I use a metal blade on my Kress line trimmer?

It depends on the specific model. Heavy-duty 60V Commercial Brush Cutters are explicitly designed to be compatible with rigid steel brush-cutter blades for clearing thick scrub, brambles, and saplings. Standard residential grass trimmers should only be used with nylon line.

How long does a Kress 60V trimmer run on a single charge?

Runtime heavily depends on grass thickness and the battery capacity (Ah) you are using. On average, a Kress 60V handheld trimmer paired with a 4.0Ah CyberPack will yield between 30 to 60 minutes of continuous cutting time, which is usually enough to edge and trim several large residential properties.

Are Kress trimmers safe to use in wet grass?

While Kress tools and batteries feature robust, weather-resistant housings and internal sealings designed to withstand damp grass and high humidity, they are not completely waterproof. You should never submerge the tool in water or use it in torrential rain, as this poses an electrical safety risk.

Do I need to wear hearing protection when using a Kress trimmer?

Kress cordless trimmers are significantly quieter than 2-stroke petrol models, largely eliminating the mechanical engine noise. However, the spinning nylon line still generates high-frequency aerodynamic noise. For commercial landscapers operating the unit for hours, WHS-compliant earmuffs and eye protection are always highly recommended.

Do you sell replacement Kress trimmer line and spools?

Yes. Freshway Supplies stocks a comprehensive range of genuine Kress consumables. We carry bulk rolls of heavy-duty twisted nylon trimmer line, pre-wound replacement spool heads, steel edger blades, and high-capacity 60V CyberPacks to keep your fleet running.

Does Freshway offer bulk trade pricing for commercial landscaping companies?

Yes. We specialize in B2B heavy equipment distribution. We provide highly competitive, tailored wholesale pricing for professional landscapers, local councils, and facility management groups looking to upgrade their fleet with multiple Kress trimmers, batteries, and rapid CyberTank chargers.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
