We stock 235 Karcher items, and the range is wider than most buyers expect. Karcher builds pressure washers, vacuums, steam cleaners, carpet machines and floor scrubbers — and, more importantly for long-term ownership, individual parts for all of them.
Five machine families, one parts network
Karcher’s Australian range splits into five families: pressure washers, dry and wet/dry vacuums, steam cleaners, carpet cleaners, and hard floor machines. The families share almost no parts, so the purchase decision is really about which family you need rather than which model — and every family has individually orderable spares.
That last point is what distinguishes Karcher from most consumer brands in the category. A machine whose motor, seals, hoses and nozzles are all orderable by part number is a machine that can be kept running, which changes the economics of buying it.
Prices are Freshway catalogue prices as at 16 September 2026 and are subject to change. Confirm the current price, and whether GST applies, before quoting.

How Karcher names its machines
The naming is consistent once you know it, and it is worth learning because it lets you compare specifications across a listing page without opening each product.
- K series (K2 to K7) — domestic and light trade pressure washers.
- HD and HDS — professional cold water and hot water pressure cleaners. The numbers give flow in hundreds of litres per hour and pressure in bar, so HD 6/15-4 is roughly 600 L/h at 150 bar.
- G series — petrol pressure washers for sites without mains power.
- NT and T — professional wet and dry vacuums (NT) and dry vacuums (T).
- SC and SG — domestic steam cleaners (SC) and professional continuous-fill steam cleaners (SG).
- Puzzi and BRC — spray extraction carpet and upholstery cleaning.

Standardising a fleet on Karcher
Where a site runs several Karcher machines, the advantages compound in three ways: accessories and consumables overlap more than they would across brands, technicians are familiar with the range, and battery platforms are shared where battery machines are involved. The counter-argument is that a single brand will not be best in every category, which is why most commercial sites we supply run Karcher for some jobs and another brand for others.
Service and repair
Karcher machines are designed to be repaired rather than replaced, and the parts availability supports that. Our service and repair team handles Karcher equipment, and where a machine needs a part rather than a service, send us the order code from the rating plate and we will identify it. Karcher’s own Australian site publishes the exploded parts diagrams.
Frequently asked questions
- Where can I buy Karcher cleaning equipment in Australia?
- From us in Arncliffe, Sydney, with Australia-wide shipping and a trade account for regular buyers. We hold 235 Karcher items across five machine families plus spares, so a machine, its accessories and its consumables can be ordered together rather than from separate suppliers.
- Which Karcher machine is best for home cleaning?
- Match the family to the job rather than the badge: a K series pressure washer for driveways and cars from A$296.06, an SC steam cleaner for floors, tiles and fittings from A$269.00, and a WD or NT vacuum where the mess includes liquid. Most homes do not need one machine that does all three.
- What are the common problems with Karcher pressure washers?
- The failures we see most are a blocked inlet filter causing pulsing or pressure loss, worn pump seals after long service, a kinked or split high pressure hose, and a blocked nozzle. All four are parts rather than a new machine, and each is identified by part number from the exploded diagram.
- Is Karcher suitable for commercial use?
- Its professional ranges are, which is why the prefix matters: K and SC are domestic-rated, while HD, HDS, NT and SG are built for commercial duty cycles. Using a domestic-rated machine commercially is the most common mistake in this category.
- Can I buy individual Karcher spare parts?
- Yes. Motors, pumps, seals, hoses, nozzles, brushes and switches are all orderable by part number, and Karcher publishes an exploded diagram for each machine. The part number, not the model name, identifies the component.
