Type “Clean Plus” into Google and you will see three different names competing for the same shelf — Clean Plus, Cleanplus and NAB Clean — mixed in with mops, cloths and dispensers. If you are trying to work out what the range actually contains and what you need to run it properly, the naming is the first obstacle. This is the map.
What the Clean Plus name covers
Clean Plus is an Australian chemical manufacturer that has been making cleaning and hygiene products since 1992, and we are one of its stockists. Our Clean Plus collection holds 44 products spanning ready-to-use chemicals, hand hygiene and decanting accessories. Cleanplus is the same brand written without the space.
A customer searching “Clean Plus chemicals” is usually looking for one of four quite different things: a spray chemical, a refill pod for a dispenser, a decanting accessory, or the hardware that carries the chemical onto the surface. Those four purchases have almost nothing in common except the label.
One distinction saves most of the confusion up front. Clean Plus is the chemical manufacturer’s brand, and the products we hold under it are formulated chemicals and the pumps, taps and dispensers that go with them. NAB Clean is a separate line in our catalogue — janitorial hardware such as flat mop refills, dusting cloths, caution signs and paper dispensers — not a second name for the same brand. Where an exact product code matters, in a specification or a service contract, quote the code and we will confirm which line it comes from.
Prices are Freshway catalogue prices as at 16 September 2026 and are subject to change. Confirm the current price, and whether GST applies, before quoting.
The range by job, not by bottle size
Reading the catalogue by size is a mistake, because the sizes are inconsistent across the range — 750 mL sprays sit next to 5 L refills and 25-piece cloth packs. Reading it by job is what actually tells you what a site needs to reorder.
| The task | Item | Pack | Price |
|---|---|---|---|

| Mould in larger areas | Freshway Mould No More 333 | Bulk | A$27.00 |
| Hand hygiene, spray | Clean Plus Instant Hand Sanitiser 364 | Each | A$12.50 |
| Hand wash, foaming refill | Cleanplus Hand Wash Foam Refill | Refill | A$27.28 |
| Antibacterial hand wash | Cleanplus Antibacterial Hand Wash Foam Pods | Refill | A$28.37 |
| Hand and body wash | Cleanplus Hair and Body Wash Foam Refill Pods 959 | Refill | A$26.39 |
| Sanitiser for dispensers | Cleanplus Instant Hand Sanitiser Foam Refills | Refill | A$39.03 |

Decanting is where most sites go wrong
Chemicals arrive in 5 L bottles and 20 L drums, but they get used from trigger sprays and buckets. That gap is bridged by three items, and skipping them is how a chemical room ends up with unlabelled supermarket bottles in it.
| Item | Fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Clean Plus Drum Tap | Threaded neck drums | A$6.50 |
| Clean Plus 20 Litre Drum Hand Pump | Standard 20 L chemical drums, dispenses with the drum flat on the floor | A$22.00 |
| Dispensing Pump for 5 Litres Bottle | 5 L bottles | A$10.00 |
| Chemical Resistant Sprayer Trigger | Solvent and acid-resistant spray heads | A$5.50 |
| Brutal Chemical Resistant Sprayer Trigger | Heavier solvent duty | A$6.50 |
| Pressure Spray Bottle 2L, adjustable nozzle | Manual pressure spraying | A$35.00 |
The drum pump matters more than its price suggests. Lifting and tilting a 20 L drum to pour is the single most common handling injury in a chemical store, and it is also the most common cause of a spill that has to be reported. Leaving the drum on the floor and pumping out of it removes both risks. Our chemical dilution guide covers the labelling side in more detail.
Dispensers: match the refill before the dispenser
The range includes both manual and lockable dispensers, and the refill format decides which one you are locked into. Two examples from our catalogue show the trap.
- Manual Foam Hand Wash Dispenser 1L FD950 (A$25.00) — non-refillable, lockable, and fed by the 959 refill pods. Buying the dispenser without checking pod availability is the usual mistake.
- Dispenser Twin Jumbo Toilet Paper Roll Holder TJTRD (A$115.00) — lockable, plastic, twin jumbo. It dictates which toilet roll format the site must buy for the life of the dispenser.
The rule is simple: choose the consumable first, then the dispenser that takes it, then check whether a lockable or keyed version is required for the building.
What the label on Mould No More actually says
Mould No More is described as a foaming alkaline detergent and sanitiser with a chlorine odour, formulated to hydrolyse fats and body oils on tiles, grout, concrete and stainless steel. It is a cleaner and sanitiser for hard surfaces — not a remediation product for structural mould, which is a separate job with its own containment and PPE requirements.
Where a building has recurring mould rather than surface staining, the underlying moisture has to be dealt with, and we cover that in mould removal and remediation principles. Safety data sheets for our chemical lines are published on the SDS page, and anyone decanting or diluting a chemical on site should have the sheet for that product to hand.
Where Clean Plus sits against the other chemical brands we stock
Clean Plus is one of four chemical houses in our catalogue, and most commercial sites end up with more than one of them. The practical split looks like this.
| Brand | Typical use | Range entry point |
|---|---|---|
| Clean Plus / Cleanplus | General washroom, hand hygiene and mould treatment chemicals, plus the pumps and taps that decant them | A$5.00 |
| Freshway | House-brand bulk chemicals where volume drives the decision | Bulk pack sizes |
| Agar | Colour-coded, dilution-controlled programmes in franchised and audited sites | Programme range |
| Actichem | Specialist and certification-backed products, including TGA-listed sanitisers | Specialist range |
If a site is standardising for the first time, the deciding factor is usually not the chemicals but the accessories and the paperwork — which brand's SDS set, labels and dispensers the team can actually keep under control.
Storage and handling
Whatever brand is chosen, the same three rules apply in a chemical store: keep products in their original labelled containers, keep the safety data sheet accessible, and keep incompatible products apart. SafeWork NSW maintains a plain-English chemicals and other substances reference, and where a site stores or disposes of chemicals at scale, the EPA NSW chemicals guidance covers the storage and disposal obligations that sit above the WHS duties.
Questions we get asked most
- Where can I buy Clean Plus products in Australia?
- From us, in Arncliffe, Sydney, with Australia-wide shipping and a trade account available for regular buyers. We hold the chemicals, the refill pods and the dispensing accessories in the same collection, so a dispenser and the consumable that feeds it can be ordered together rather than from two suppliers.
- Is Clean Plus Australian made?
- Clean Plus Chemicals states that it is Australian made and owned and has manufactured since 1992. Those are the manufacturer’s claims rather than ours, and individual products vary, so check the label on the specific product if the country of origin has to be recorded in a specification.
- Is Clean Plus the same as Cleanplus and NAB Clean?
- Cleanplus is the same brand written without a space, which is why both spellings appear on product names. NAB Clean is a different line in our catalogue: janitorial hardware such as mops, cloths, signs and paper dispensers, rather than Clean Plus chemicals.
- What are Clean Plus chemicals used for?
- Washroom and surface work mainly: mould and soap scum removal, hand hygiene and sanitising, plus the decanting accessories that go with them. Products in the range are positioned for hard surfaces including tiles, grout, concrete and stainless steel.
- Do Clean Plus products need diluting?
- The spray items are supplied ready to use or as refill pods matched to a dispenser, so the main discipline is decanting into labelled containers rather than mixing. Anything that is diluted must go to the label ratio, not a stronger one, because over-strength solution is the usual cause of surface damage and residue.
