Product Description

Trail Blazer Pre-Cut Trimmer Line 2.4mm (17-Inch) – Heavy Duty Whipper Snipper Cord

Completely eradicate the frustrating, time-consuming process of measuring, cutting, and manually winding massive spools of string with the highly efficient Trail Blazer Pre-Cut Trimmer Line 2.4mm (BRT5348). In the high-speed commercial landscaping industry, every second a worker spends sitting on the back of a ute trying to respool a tangled bump-feed head is lost revenue. This premium heavy duty whipper snipper cord is supplied in a massive 1kg bundle of perfectly straight, precisely pre-cut 17-inch lengths. Designed specifically for modern fixed-line commercial trimmer heads, operators simply pull two fresh strands from the bundle, thread them straight into the head, and instantly return to slashing thick grass in under 10 seconds.

Speed of loading means nothing if the line shatters instantly. Trail Blazer is engineered from the absolute highest-quality commercial copolymers, delivering monumental impact resistance against abrasive concrete gutters and chain-link fences. The specialized 2.4mm (0.095") gauge provides the perfect balance—thick enough to violently shatter stalky weeds, yet aerodynamic enough to prevent your brushcutter engine from bogging down. Highly resistant to tip fraying and welding, this massive 1kg bundle of commercial trimmer line is the ultimate, high-efficiency consumable for professional groundskeepers demanding non-stop, aggressive cutting power.

Who Is The Trail Blazer Pre-Cut Trimmer Line Ideal For?

The BRT5348 Bundle delivers 17-inch pre-cut convenience and copolymer durability. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Landscapers: Utilizing pre-cut commercial trimmer line in fixed-line heads to drastically slash the downtime associated with winding tangled spools, maximizing daily labor efficiency.
Council Groundskeepers: Relying on the massive impact resistance of the 2.4mm copolymer cord to aggressively edge miles of rough concrete footpaths and retaining walls without the line shattering.
Agricultural & Farm Maintenance: Carrying a lightweight bundle of pre-cut strands in their pocket, allowing them to instantly reload their brushcutter while standing in the middle of a massive paddock.
Domestic Homeowners: Upgrading their standard battery trimmer to a fixed-line head and using this heavy duty whipper snipper cord to eliminate the extreme frustration of jammed bump-feed spools forever.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Instant Pre-Cut Convenience: Supplied as a bundle of perfectly straight, 17-inch lengths. Completely eliminates the need to carry scissors or struggle with tangled, coiling line. Just pull a strand and load it instantly.
Premium Copolymer Blend: Formulated using the absolute highest-quality commercial copolymers. This drastically increases the line's flexibility and tensile strength, preventing it from shattering upon heavy impact.
Weld-Resistant Performance: Massive petrol engines generate intense internal friction heat. This specialized line is highly resistant to melting, completely preventing the cord from degrading at the eyelet.
Prevents Fraying & Splitting: The advanced extrusion process ensures the tip of the line remains solid and razor-sharp, rather than splitting into a fuzzy, ineffective brush, guaranteeing a clean cut through thick weeds.
Massive 1KG Bulk Bundle: Provides incredible commercial value. A 1kg bundle contains hundreds of pre-cut strands, ensuring your landscaping crew is fully stocked for months of relentless daily edging.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 'Pre-Cut Bundle' mean?

Instead of coming wrapped around a massive plastic spool that you have to cut yourself, this product is supplied as hundreds of perfectly straight, individual pieces of line already cut to exactly 17 inches long.

Can I wind these pre-cut pieces into my bump-feed head?

Absolutely NOT. Bump-feed heads require one continuous, very long piece of string (usually 5 to 7 metres long) wound inside a spool. These short 17-inch pieces are exclusively designed for 'Fixed-Line' commercial trimmer heads.

What is a 'Fixed-Line' trimmer head?

A fixed-line head does not bump to feed line. It is a solid metal or plastic block with holes in it. You push one or two of these pre-cut 17-inch strands through the holes. When the ends wear down, you pull the old strand out and push a new one in. It takes 5 seconds and never jams.

Is 2.4mm a good thickness for general use?

Yes, 2.4mm (0.095 inches) is universally considered the absolute 'sweet spot' for commercial landscaping. It is thick enough to smash through heavy weeds and edge concrete safely, but thin enough that it won't bog down standard 25cc petrol engines.

Why is pre-cut line perfectly straight?

Line that sits on a round spool for months develops 'memory' and naturally curls into circles, making it annoying to load. Because these pre-cut strands are stored completely straight in a plastic tube, they never curl, making them incredibly easy to thread into the trimmer head.

How many 17-inch strands are in a 1kg bundle?

While the exact count varies slightly by weight, a massive 1kg bundle of 2.4mm nylon typically contains several hundred individual pre-cut strands, ensuring you won't run out during a busy landscaping season.

Can I use this line for edging concrete driveways?

Absolutely. This copolymer heavy-duty line is specifically engineered for high-impact resistance, making it exceptional for aggressively cutting grass vertically against rough concrete gutters and brick retaining walls without shattering.

Is copolymer better than standard nylon?

Yes. Standard nylon dries out quickly, becoming brittle and shattering. Copolymers are an advanced blend of plastics that retain their moisture and flexibility, making them vastly tougher and more impact-resistant.

How should I store this bundle so it doesn't go brittle?

To keep the copolymer line perfectly flexible, you should store the plastic tube in a cool, dark workshop away from direct UV sunlight. If the line ever feels dry, you can soak the strands in a bucket of water overnight to rehydrate the plastic.

Will this fit my Echo or Shindaiwa?

It will fit ANY brand of petrol or heavy-duty battery brushcutter, provided you have removed the factory bump-feed head and installed an aftermarket 'Fixed-Line' head capable of accepting 2.4mm line.

Can this line cut through small tree saplings?

While 2.4mm line is devastating to thick weeds and grass, you should not use plastic nylon line to cut woody tree saplings. For thick, hard brush, you must switch your trimmer to a solid steel brushcutter blade.

Do you offer trade pricing for landscaping fleets?

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
