Product Description

Wessel-Werk TK284 Air-Driven Turbo Head (35mm) – Vacuum Turbo Head

Instantly execute a flawless, deep-cleaning carpet extraction, completely eradicate deeply embedded pet hair and rock-hard dirt, and massively upgrade your standard vacuum's performance with the highly formidable Wessel-Werk TK284 Air-Driven Turbo Head (35mm). In the grueling domestic and commercial cleaning sectors, standard flat vacuum heads simply glide over the top of thick carpets, utterly failing to remove the heavy, microscopic grit trapped deep within the fibers. This elite, German-engineered vacuum turbo head completely revolutionizes carpet maintenance. It acts as a massive mechanical agitator. Utilizing the raw airflow generated by your vacuum cleaner, it spins a high-speed internal roller brush that violently beats the carpet fibers, physically lifting and tearing thick pet hair and heavy dust directly into the massive suction channel.

Engineered for unparalleled industrial survival and ultimate operator comfort, the Wessel-Werk TK284 abandons cheap, easily jammed plastics. The precision-engineered internal turbine is designed to maintain terrifying rotational speed without bogging down, ensuring an absolutely flawless, groomed finish on highly expensive rugs and dense carpets. Maximizing worksite efficiency, the housing sits on a specialized wheel base, allowing the massive head to glide effortlessly and smoothly with zero operator drag or arm fatigue. Designed with a specific 35mm fitment, it connects flawlessly to major European vacuum brands utilizing the larger 35mm wand standard (such as Wertheim and Miele). Trusted globally by professional detailers, this premium genuine carpet turbo brush is the definitive, non-negotiable upgrade for serious cleaners demanding absolute, deep-fiber perfection.

Who Is The Wessel-Werk TK284 Turbo Head Ideal For?

The FTTW135 delivers air-driven roller brush agitation, a wheeled chassis, and premium German construction. It is highly recommended for:

Pet Owners & Domestic Households: Utilizing a highly advanced vacuum turbo head to violently rip deeply embedded dog and cat hair out of thick lounge carpets, executing a 100% flawless extraction that standard flat heads simply cannot achieve.
Commercial Cleaning Contractors: Relying on the terrifying brush agitation to rapidly groom and restore heavily trafficked office carpets and hotel suite rugs, drastically slashing the time it takes to deep-clean massive spaces.
Miele & Wertheim Vacuum Owners: Deploying the premium carpet turbo brush as the exact, perfect 35mm high-performance upgrade for their expensive European vacuums, instantly transforming them into heavy-duty carpet extractors.
Allergy & Asthma Sufferers: Taking absolute advantage of the mechanical beating action to physically lift microscopic dust mites and heavy allergens buried deep in the carpet padding before they become airborne.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

High-Speed Air-Driven Roller Brush: The ultimate carpet grooming weapon. The vacuum's airflow spins an internal turbine connected to a stiff bristle brush. It violently beats the carpet, separating the fibers and ripping out thick hair and heavy grit that standard suction leaves behind.
Premium German Manufacturing: Built for brutal worksite survival. Wessel-Werk is globally recognized as the pinnacle of vacuum accessory engineering. Forged from high-impact ABS plastics, this genuine part easily survives years of relentless daily abuse without the internal turbine shattering.
Effortless Wheeled Chassis: Utterly eradicates operator exhaustion. Powerful vacuums suck flat heads so tightly to the carpet that they become physically exhausting to push. The integrated wheels bear this load, allowing the head to glide smoothly and silently with zero drag.
Specialized 35mm European Fitment: Engineered for absolute compatibility. The neck is perfectly sized to slide onto standard 35mm vacuum wands (commonly used by Wertheim and Miele), ensuring an incredibly secure, airtight connection for massive extraction machines.
Revitalizes Flat Carpets: Total aesthetic restoration. The aggressive spinning bristles don't just clean; they physically lift and separate crushed, flattened carpet fibers in heavy traffic areas, leaving the rug looking plush, groomed, and factory-new.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a 'Turbo Head' and a standard floor tool?

A standard floor tool only uses suction to pull dirt off the surface. A 'Turbo Head' contains a spinning brush roller inside. It acts like a mechanical broom, violently beating the carpet fibers to physically rip out deeply embedded pet hair and heavy grit.

Does this turbo head need to be plugged into electricity?

No! This is an 'Air-Driven' turbo head. It utilizes the raw suction airflow generated by your vacuum cleaner to spin an internal turbine, which in turn spins the brush roller. There are absolutely no dangerous electrical cords or batteries required.

What does '35mm Fitment' actually mean?

35mm refers to the internal diameter of the neck on this floor tool. It is designed to slide perfectly onto any vacuum cleaner metal wand (pole) that has a 35mm outer diameter. This size is highly common on premium European brands like Miele and Wertheim.

Will this fit my Pacvac backpack vacuum?

Absolutely NOT. Pacvac backpack vacuums universally use a 32mm wand system. If you try to slide this 35mm tool onto a 32mm wand, it will be completely loose and fall off instantly. You must purchase the 32mm version (FTTW132) for a Pacvac.

Is Wessel-Werk a good brand?

Wessel-Werk is universally recognized as the absolute 'Gold Standard' in global vacuum accessory manufacturing. Made in Germany, their floor tools are heavily engineered for maximum airflow efficiency and terrifying commercial durability.

Can I use this on hard floors like tiles or timber?

It is highly NOT recommended. The incredibly aggressive, high-speed spinning bristles are specifically designed to beat soft carpets. If you run it over highly delicate, expensive polished timber, the stiff bristles may inflict thousands of microscopic scratches.

Will long pet hair tangle around the spinning brush?

Yes, as with any high-performance motorized brush, incredibly long human or pet hair will eventually wrap tightly around the roller. To maintain terrifying RPM speeds, you must regularly use scissors to carefully slice the hair off the roller brush.

Is my vacuum powerful enough to spin the brush?

Because it relies entirely on the vacuum's airflow to spin the turbine, you MUST have a high-suction vacuum (typically a good quality mains-powered canister or commercial unit). If your vacuum has very weak, failing suction, the brush will barely spin.

How do I know if I have a 32mm or 35mm vacuum?

You must physically measure the OUTER diameter of the metal wand (pole) that inserts into the floor tool using calipers or a tape measure. If the pole measures exactly 35mm straight across the very tip, this tool will fit perfectly.

Will it suck up large debris like stones?

Turbo heads are specifically engineered to violently extract embedded dust and hair. Large, heavy objects like rocks or massive paperclips should be picked up manually before vacuuming, as they can violently jam the high-speed turbine and shatter the internal plastics.

Does the wheel base help with thick carpets?

Absolutely. High-suction vacuums pull standard heads so tightly into thick, plush carpets that they become physically exhausting to push. The integrated wheels carry the massive weight, allowing the turbo head to glide effortlessly without destroying your shoulders.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.
