Product Description

Cleanstar Straight Chrome 38mm Rod (No Cuff) – Commercial Vacuum Wand

Equip your massive industrial extraction fleet with the ultimate, heavy-duty sweeping extension: the Cleanstar Straight Chrome 38mm Rod (RCS038). In the harshest commercial environments—such as active construction zones, massive concrete warehouses, and logistics hubs—vacuum wands are subjected to brutal impacts that instantly shatter standard plastic pipes. This elite commercial vacuum wand is forged entirely from heavy-gauge, chrome-plated metal. It guarantees absolutely indestructible rigidity, allowing operators to apply maximum downward scrubbing force to heavy 38mm floor tools without the pipe bending, warping, or failing.

When clearing massive worksites, unrestricted airflow is critical. Engineered precisely for the massive 38mm industrial standard, this 38mm vacuum rod features an incredibly wide internal bore. It ensures that massive volumes of abrasive rubble, thick concrete dust, and large wood shavings pass flawlessly into the vacuum canister without choking the pipe and causing frustrating blockages. Featuring a highly versatile "No Cuff" straight design, this heavy-duty industrial vacuum pipe acts as the perfect structural foundation for building custom wand setups or replacing heavily dented sections on your high-powered commercial extraction machines.

Who Is This 38mm Chrome Vacuum Rod Ideal For?

The RCS038 Chrome Rod delivers heavy-duty 38mm airflow and indestructible metal rigidity. It is highly recommended for:

Construction & Tradespeople: Utilizing an indestructible commercial vacuum wand on busy jobsites to ensure their equipment isn't crushed when accidentally stepped on by heavy machinery or steel-cap boots.
Warehouse & Industrial Cleaners: Benefiting from the oversized 38mm vacuum rod diameter to rapidly suck up heavy metal shavings, thick pallet splinters, and workshop grime without blocking the pipe.
Facility Maintenance Managers: Applying massive downward pressure to heavy commercial floor tools using this rigid industrial vacuum pipe to deeply scrub heavily soiled concrete factory floors.
Appliance Repair Technicians: Sourcing highly reliable, heavy-gauge commercial metal pipes to completely refurbish clients' massive 38mm twin-motor wet and dry extraction systems.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Heavy-Gauge Chrome Metal: Vastly superior to plastic. This thick metal rod will not snap, warp, or crack under the extreme physical pressure of heavy-duty industrial scrubbing and worksite drops.
Oversized 38mm Diameter: Specifically designed for massive industrial airflow. The extra-wide bore allows large, bulky debris to pass through effortlessly, completely preventing frustrating blockages.
No-Cuff Straight Design: Provides a highly versatile, direct friction-fit connection at both ends, making it perfect for professional setups where specialized or oversized accessories are used.
Maximum Operator Control: The rigid metal construction transfers 100% of the operator's pushing force directly to the floor tool, making it exceptionally efficient for scrubbing heavily soiled surfaces.
Massive Multi-Brand Compatibility: Acts as a flawless, airtight replacement pipe for any commercial or industrial vacuum cleaner utilizing the heavy-duty 38mm accessory standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does '38mm' mean?

38mm refers to the oversized external and internal diameter of the connection points. Standard domestic vacuums use 32mm. 38mm is a massive, heavy-duty industrial standard designed to suck up large debris without blocking the pipe.

How do I measure my vacuum pipe to see if this fits?

Take your current metal vacuum wand. Measure straight across the circular opening at the very bottom end (the end that goes into the floor tool). You are measuring the OUTSIDE diameter. If it is exactly 38mm, this rod will fit your system perfectly.

What does 'No Cuff' mean?

A 'cuff' is a wider ring of metal or plastic at the top of some wands that stops it from sliding too deep. A 'No Cuff' design means the pipe is a completely smooth, straight cylinder with a slight taper at the bottom, allowing for maximum versatility when connecting standard 38mm parts.

Why use a 38mm industrial pipe instead of a standard 32mm one?

Airflow and debris size. A massive 38mm pipe allows you to suck up heavy gravel, large wood shavings, and chunks of plaster that would instantly get stuck in and block a standard 32mm domestic pipe.

Will this fit my Pacvac or Pullman backpack vacuum?

No. Standard commercial backpacks almost exclusively use the much smaller 32mm standard. This 38mm wand will be vastly too large to fit the hoses or floor tools of standard backpack vacuums.

Is this commercial vacuum wand heavy?

Yes, metal is noticeably heavier than plastic. However, in heavy-duty commercial environments, that extra weight and rigidity are required so the operator can apply massive downward pressure to scrub the floor without the pipe snapping.

Can I use this chrome pipe for wet extraction?

Yes, it is perfectly suited for commercial wet and dry use. However, because it is chrome-plated metal, you must wipe it down and dry the inside after extracting water to prevent the underlying metal from eventually rusting.

Does this rod have a button locking clip?

No, true heavy-duty commercial wands rely purely on a tight friction fit. Plastic button clips easily snap off on industrial worksites, so the tapered friction-fit is the preferred standard for maximum durability.

Can I attach two of these rods together?

Yes! Because they feature a tapered friction-fit design, you can firmly push the bottom of one rod into the top of another to create a long wand so you can stand up perfectly straight while sweeping.

Will the chrome plating rust?

The chrome plating is highly resistant to rust. However, if the chrome plating is heavily scratched by being dragged across concrete, the underlying metal may oxidize if left sitting in water.

Do I need an adapter to fit my 38mm floor tool?

No. If your floor tool is rated for the 38mm standard, this metal rod will push directly into it, creating an instant, airtight seal without the need for any plastic adapters.

Is this wand straight or curved?

This is strictly a straight extension pipe. The curved handle (Bent End Piece) that attaches to your flexible hose is a separate component that pushes into the top of this rod.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
