Can I use other brands of detergent in the FJ 10 C?

The Connect 'n' Clean system is optimized for Karcher's 1L detergent bottles. While you can refill a Karcher bottle with other soaps, we recommend Karcher detergents for the best foam consistency and to ensure no clogging of the internal venture valve.

How do I adjust the thickness of the foam?

There is a yellow dial on the top of the nozzle head. Turning this dial regulates how much detergent is pulled into the water stream, allowing you to move from a light soap mist to a thick, 'snow-like' foam.

Does this replace the built-in detergent tank on my Karcher K5 or K7?

Can I adjust the spray from horizontal to vertical?

Yes, the front of the nozzle can be rotated to change the orientation of the foam fan, making it easier to cover wide areas or tall vertical panels efficiently.

Why is my foam nozzle not producing thick foam?

This is usually caused by either a low detergent setting on the dial, a partially blocked nozzle tip, or using a detergent that isn't formulated for foaming. Ensure the dial is set to '+' for maximum foam.
