Product Description

Nilfisk Prolite Disc Brush 360 mm (14") – General-Purpose Floor Scrubbing

The Nilfisk Prolite Disc Brush (360 mm / 14") is a genuine OEM accessory engineered for reliable, daily hard-floor maintenance. Featuring high-quality Prolite® polypropylene fibers and a secure 3-lug mounting configuration, this general-purpose floor scrubber brush delivers consistent, effective cleaning across a variety of commercial surfaces. Its 14-inch wide-path diameter ensures substantial floor coverage per pass, drastically improving cleaning efficiency in large, high-traffic areas without compromising on detail.

Protecting your facility's flooring investment is paramount. Unlike highly abrasive grit brushes, the Prolite bristles provide excellent soil removal while remaining gentle enough to preserve sealed concrete, vinyl, terrazzo, and tiled surfaces, ensuring your floor finishes are protected over time. Furthermore, relying on genuine OEM Nilfisk accessories guarantees accurate fitment and perfectly balanced drive alignment. This eliminates the excessive vibration and installation issues often associated with aftermarket components, reducing downtime and protecting the drive motor of your commercial cleaning equipment.

Who Is This Scrubber Brush Ideal For?

The Nilfisk Prolite 14" brush provides the perfect balance of effective scrubbing and surface protection. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Cleaning Contractors: Needing a versatile, everyday brush for routine maintenance across multiple client sites.
Hospitals & Healthcare Facilities: Safely cleaning sealed vinyl and linoleum corridors without stripping the protective floor wax.
Retail Stores & Supermarkets: Maintaining high-gloss, pristine aisles by removing daily dirt and scuff marks efficiently.
Schools & Institutional Buildings: Ensuring fast, wide-path hard-floor maintenance in large cafeterias and hallways.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Prolite® Polypropylene Fibers: Durable, synthetic bristles provide excellent daily scrubbing power while protecting delicate floor finishes.
14-Inch Wide-Path Coverage: The 360 mm diameter maximizes surface contact per pass, saving labor time in expansive commercial areas.
OEM 3-Lug Mounting System: Ensures a secure, vibration-free lock onto the machine's drive hub for smooth operation.
Protects Floor Finishes: Far less aggressive than grit brushes, making it ideal for regular maintenance rather than deep stripping.
Heavy-Duty Construction: Built by Nilfisk to withstand the rigors of heavy, daily commercial use, lowering overall replacement costs.

Technical Specifications:

Brand: Nilfisk / Nilfisk Advance (Genuine OEM)
Product Type: Disc Brush (Rotary Floor Scrubber Accessory)
Diameter: 14 Inches (Approx. 356 mm / 360 mm)
Mounting Type: 3-Lug Configuration
Fiber Material: Prolite® (Polypropylene)
Machine Compatibility: Nilfisk, Advance, and Clarke scrubbers requiring 14" deck brushes (verify with machine parts manual)
Included: 1 × Nilfisk Prolite Disc Brush (14")

Usage & Application Tips:

Ensure the scrubber is powered off and locked out before servicing. Remove the old brush disc by loosening the 3-lug mount as per the manufacturer's instructions. Align the new 14" Prolite disc brush onto the drive hub and secure the fasteners firmly. Perform a short test pass on a flat, clean area to confirm smooth rotation and full, even contact with the floor surface. If any gaps or uneven scrubbing appear, re-check the mounting and adjust the alignment before resuming full cleaning operations.

The ultimate OEM general-purpose brush for daily floor maintenance. Available for nationwide delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is Prolite® fiber?

Prolite® is Nilfisk's proprietary, high-quality polypropylene material. It is engineered specifically for routine, general-purpose scrubbing because it is highly durable yet gentle enough to clean surfaces without scratching them.

Will this brush strip the wax or finish off my vinyl floors?

No, the Prolite bristles are specifically designed for daily or routine maintenance. They are much less aggressive than grit brushes and will safely clean daily dirt and scuffs without stripping your floor's protective finish or wax.

How does the 3-lug mounting system work?

The 3-lug mount is a standard, secure attachment mechanism used heavily by Nilfisk, Advance, and Clarke. It features three locking points that allow the brush to lock firmly onto the machine's drive hub, ensuring stable, vibration-free rotation.

Why should I buy a genuine OEM Nilfisk brush instead of a cheaper aftermarket version?

Genuine OEM parts guarantee precise fitment, perfect balance, and proper drive alignment. Unbalanced aftermarket brushes can cause severe machine vibration, which leads to poor cleaning results and can permanently damage your scrubber's expensive drive motor.

Can I use this brush on rough, unsealed industrial concrete?

While it can be used on concrete, the Prolite brush is optimized for sealed and coated hard floors. For extremely rough or heavily soiled industrial concrete, upgrading to an abrasive Nilfisk Dynagrit or Aglite brush is highly recommended.

How do I know when it is time to replace my scrubber brush?

You should replace the brush when the polypropylene bristles have worn down to about 50% of their original length, or if you notice the machine is leaving dirt behind and no longer providing an even, consistent clean.

How should I clean and store the brush after my shift?

Rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water to remove trapped dirt, debris, and cleaning chemicals. Store it removed from the machine, either hanging on a wall peg or resting flat, bristle-side down, to prevent the fibers from warping.

Is this 14-inch brush compatible with all Nilfisk scrubbers?

It is compatible with Nilfisk, Advance, and Clarke walk-behind or ride-on scrubber-dryers that specifically require a 14-inch, 3-lug deck brush. Always check your machine's parts manual to confirm exact fitment.

What cleaning chemicals should I use with this brush?

This general-purpose brush pairs perfectly with neutral pH floor cleaners for daily maintenance, or mild degreasers for slightly heavier soiling on sealed surfaces.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
