Product Description

Triumph Mk3 Angled Scraper 150mm (6-Inch) – Commercial Window Cleaning Tools

Execute highly aggressive, massive-scale high-reach glass restoration and flawlessly shear off severely baked-on industrial contaminants with the exceptionally formidable Triumph Mk3 Angled Glass Scraper (150mm). In the incredibly demanding commercial window cleaning and post-construction detailing sectors, utilizing standard straight scrapers on long extension poles is a massive ergonomic failure. A straight handle forces the blade to sit completely flat against the window when reaching high, instantly gouging the glass. This professional-grade commercial window cleaning tool provides the ultimate, high-efficiency mechanical solution. Engineered with a highly specialized, ergonomically 'Angled' handle head, it automatically pitches the massive 150mm (6-inch) double-sided carbon steel blade at the perfect 30-degree chiseling angle, ensuring flawless, scratch-free scraping performance when attached to towering extension poles.

Designed for absolute worksite productivity and unparalleled operator safety, the Triumph Mk3 Angled Scraper is heavily equipped with a secure, snap-on plastic safety cover, completely mitigating the risk of severe accidental lacerations during transit. The hollow base of the heavy-duty handle is explicitly engineered to friction-fit seamlessly onto almost all standard commercial window cleaning extension poles. By deploying these premium industrial cleaning tools and detailing accessories, facility managers and contract cleaners can safely reach high, second-story exterior windows to aggressively strip hardened paint splatters, thick silicone, and baked-on mortar while remaining safely balanced on solid ground.

Who Is The Triumph Mk3 Angled Scraper Ideal For?

The Triumph Mk3 (Part 1916) delivers a massive 150mm razor blade, a specialized angled head, and extension pole compatibility. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Window Cleaners: Utilizing a highly robust, precision commercial window cleaning tool to rapidly shear off baked-on bird droppings, thick sticky-tape residue, and hardened construction silicone from massive, high-rise architectural glass perfectly from the ground.
Post-Construction Detailers: Relying on the heavy-duty carbon steel blade to aggressively strip hardened paint splatters, thick drywall plaster mud, and heavy construction adhesives off towering exterior windows without permanently scratching the expensive glazing.
High-Reach Cleaning Operators: Taking absolute advantage of the specialized 'Angled' head. When attached to a 3-meter extension pole, the angled head ensures the razor blade contacts the glass at the perfect, aggressive scraping pitch, rather than sitting uselessly flat against the pane.
Facility OH&S Managers: Deploying premium industrial cleaning tools equipped with a specialized safety cover. The plastic guard physically encases the lethal razor blade when not in use, strictly protecting the cleaning staff from severe, deep lacerations.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Specialized Angled Head Design: The ultimate high-reach advantage. Unlike straight scrapers, the head of this tool is tilted. When you attach it to a long extension pole and reach up to a second-story window, the angle automatically forces the blade to strike the glass at the absolute perfect scraping pitch, completely preventing gouging.
Massive 150mm Double-Sided Razor Blade: Maximizes worksite efficiency. The massive 6-inch width covers huge surface areas rapidly, slashing labor time. The blade is double-sided; when the front edge inevitably becomes blunt from grinding against hard glass, the operator simply flips the blade around to utilize the brand-new back edge.
Extension Pole Compatible: Protects operator health. The base of the plastic handle is hollow and explicitly engineered to attach securely to most standard commercial window cleaning extension poles. This allows cleaners to scrape heavy paint splatters off high, out-of-reach exterior windows entirely ladder-free.
Snap-On Safety Cover: Ensures strict worksite compliance. A razor-sharp 150mm blade is incredibly dangerous if left exposed in a bucket. The tool features a rigid plastic guard that snaps securely over the blade, completely protecting the operator's hands during storage and transit.
Quick-Change Blade Mechanism: Reduces ongoing commercial downtime. When both sides of the heavy-duty blade finally wear out, the operator does not need a screwdriver. The specialized clamping mechanism allows the user to instantly slide the old blade out and lock a fresh one in seamlessly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an 'Angled' and a 'Straight' scraper?

This is a critical ergonomic feature. A 'Straight' scraper keeps the blade perfectly in line with the handle, which is excellent for handheld scraping low to the ground. This 'Angled' scraper tilts the blade head forward, which provides the perfect, aggressive chiseling angle when you attach the tool to a high extension pole.

What is a 'Scraper' used for in window cleaning?

While a fluffy washer removes light dirt, it cannot remove rock-hard, baked-on substances like paint splatters, thick bird droppings, or construction silicone. A scraper uses a massive 150mm razor-sharp steel blade to physically chisel and shear these hard contaminants completely flat off the glass.

Will a steel razor blade scratch my glass windows?

If used correctly, NO. Glass is physically harder than standard carbon steel. You must always ensure the glass is dripping WET with soapy water to lubricate the blade, and you must only push the scraper directly forward. Never drag it backward or use a rusted blade, as that will trap grit and scratch the window.

What does 'Double-Sided Blade' mean?

This is a massive commercial advantage. The steel blade inside the scraper is sharpened on both the top and bottom edges. When the front edge eventually becomes blunt from scraping hard tiles, you simply unclip the holding plate, flip the blade 180 degrees, and you instantly have a brand-new edge.

Can I attach this scraper to a long extension pole?

Yes! This is its primary design purpose. The base of the thick plastic handle is hollow. It is specifically engineered to friction-fit securely onto most standard commercial window cleaning extension poles, allowing you to safely scrape heavy paint splatters off high, second-story windows without ladders.

Is this tool safe to store in my tool belt?

Yes. A 150mm razor blade is lethal if left exposed. This Triumph scraper is supplied with a highly secure, hard plastic 'Safety Cover' that snaps tightly over the sharp blade, completely protecting your hands when reaching blindly into your janitorial tool belt.

Can I use this scraper on polished wooden floors or car paint?

Absolutely, unequivocally NOT. You must NEVER use a steel razor scraper on delicate surfaces like clear-coat car paint, polished timber floors, soft plastics, or fiberglass. The blade will instantly gouge, slice, and permanently destroy soft surfaces. It is strictly for glass, ceramics, and bare concrete.

Can I buy replacement blades when this one wears out?

Yes! You do not have to throw the heavy-duty plastic handle away. Freshway Supplies sells highly economical replacement Triumph Carbon Steel Blades. The quick-change mechanism allows you to slide the old blade out and lock a fresh one in instantly.

Is the blade rust-proof?

Standard carbon steel scraper blades are exceptionally sharp, but they will eventually rust if left sitting in a puddle of dirty water. To ensure maximum lifespan, you should wipe the blade completely dry with a cloth after a heavy shift and snap the safety cover back on.

How do I remove the safety cover?

The safety cover features a secure snap-lock design. You simply grip the sides of the cover firmly and slide it directly off the front of the blade. NEVER place your fingers near the open slot where the razor edge is exposed.

Can I use this to scrape sticky tape and stickers off glass?

Yes! It is exceptionally effective at sliding underneath the adhesive of old registration stickers, sticky-tape, and baked-on window tinting film, shearing them off the glass flawlessly in seconds.

Do you offer trade pricing for commercial window cleaners?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for professional window cleaning contractors, post-construction detailers, and facility managers ordering bulk hardware and replacement razor blades. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
