What does 'Skin Only' or 'Tool Only' mean?

How many batteries does it require?

How do I vacuum up water?

The DVC150LZ is a true 'Wet & Dry' machine. To vacuum water, you MUST open the canister and completely remove the dry paper dust bag and the dry cloth filter first. You then reassemble the machine and suck the liquid directly into the bare plastic 12L tub.

What happens if the tub fills completely with water?

The machine features an internal float-valve safety system. When the liquid level reaches the maximum 12-Litre capacity, the internal float rises and physically chokes the motor's airflow. You will hear the motor pitch change to a high scream, signaling you must empty the tub immediately.

What is the 'Removable Power Cord' for?
