The DUC407 features a gear reduction system to maximise the performance of the 0.61kW of Max output power provided by the Brushless motor. This delivers a max chain speed of 7.7m/s which allows the narrow 1.1mm chain to smoothly cut through hardwoods.

Tool-less chain tension adjustment makes replacing, loosening or tightening bars & chains a quick and easy job. The electric brake stops the chain quickly once the trigger is released and the lock-off button helps to reduce the risk of unexpected startup.
