Product Description

Makita 18Vx2 (36V) Brushless Turbo Blower (DUB362 Range)

Experience the sheer clearing power of petrol without the fumes, noise, or maintenance with the Makita 18Vx2 (36V) Brushless Turbo Blower (DUB362). Engineered for professional landscapers, maintenance staff, and demanding home users, this market-leading cordless blower utilizes two 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries in series to deliver a massive 36V of power. The highly efficient Brushless motor generates an incredible maximum air volume of 13.4m³/min and a swift air velocity of 194.4km/h, allowing you to easily shift wet leaves, heavy debris, and grass clippings from large properties and commercial sites.

The DUB362 is packed with intelligent features to maximize operator control and comfort. It features a 6-stage variable speed dial alongside a variable speed trigger, allowing you to precisely tune the blowing force to the specific task—whether you are clearing delicate garden beds or blasting debris off hard concrete. To reduce fatigue during long shifts, the blower incorporates an ambidextrous lock-on button, an optimum grip-to-frame angle that naturally directs the nozzle towards the ground, and a 3-stage telescopic nozzle with a 100mm adjustment range to perfectly suit the user's height.

Ideal For:

Landscapers & Gardeners: Delivers petrol-equivalent power (13.4m³/min air volume) to quickly clear large lawns, driveways, and garden beds.
Commercial Facility Maintenance: The relatively low 79dB noise level and zero emissions make it perfect for clearing debris around schools, hospitals, and occupied office buildings.
Heavy-Duty Home Use: A highly convenient, powerful solution for keeping gutters, large patios, and residential pathways spotless without the hassle of extension cords or mixing fuel.

Key Features:

18Vx2 (36V) Brushless Motor: Uses two 18V LXT batteries to deliver 36V of petrol-equivalent power and extended runtime without leaving the 18V platform.
Variable Speed Control: Features a 6-stage speed dial and a variable trigger, providing ultimate control over the impressive 14.4N blowing force.
3-Stage Telescopic Nozzle: Easily adjust the length of the nozzle by up to 100mm to suit the user's height and improve sweeping efficiency.
Ambidextrous Lock-On Button: Allows you to lock the trigger on from either side, eliminating the need to hold the trigger down during extended use.
Extreme Protection Technology (XPT): Specifically engineered to provide increased resistance to dust, moisture, and dripping water in harsh outdoor environments.
Dual Battery Fuel Gauge: Conveniently indicates the remaining power in each battery directly on the tool.

Available Variations:

DUB362Z: Tool Only (Skin) - No batteries or charger included.
DUB362PT2 Kit: Includes Blower, 2x 18V 5.0Ah Batteries (BL1850B), and 1x Dual Port Rapid Charger (DC18RD).

Frequently Asked Questions

What variations of the DUB362 Blower are available?

You can purchase the DUB362Z as a 'Tool Only' (Skin) if you already have Makita 18V batteries. If you need batteries, the DUB362PT2 kit includes the blower, two 18V 5.0Ah batteries, and a dual-port rapid charger.

Does this blower use a 36V battery?

No, it utilizes Makita's 18Vx2 technology. It is powered by two standard Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries used in series to deliver 36V of power, meaning you don't need to invest in a separate battery platform.

How powerful is the airflow?

It is designed to provide petrol-equivalent performance. It delivers an exceptional maximum air volume of 13.4m³/min and a maximum air speed of 194.4km/h.

Can I adjust the speed of the blower?

Yes. It features a highly adjustable 6-stage variable speed control dial, plus a variable speed trigger, giving you precise control over the air output for different tasks.

What is the telescopic nozzle?

The blower features a 3-stage telescopic nozzle. This allows you to easily adjust the length of the blower tube over a 100mm range to perfectly suit your height and the sweeping application.

Do I have to hold the trigger down the whole time?

No. The DUB362 features an ambidextrous lock-on button that allows you to lock the trigger in the 'on' position, preventing hand fatigue during prolonged use.

Is the blower heavy?

Despite its massive power, it is relatively lightweight. It weighs just 2.8kg as a bare tool, and 4.0kg with two standard batteries installed, making it comfortable for extended periods of use.

Can I use it if it's lightly raining?

Yes. The DUB362 features Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), which provides increased resistance to moisture and dripping water, allowing for safe operation in harsh outdoor environments.

How do I know how much battery life is left?

The tool features a built-in dual battery fuel gauge that clearly indicates the remaining power level in each of the two attached batteries.

What is the optimum grip-to-frame angle?

The handle is specifically angled so that when you hold the blower naturally, the nozzle points directly at the ground at the optimal angle for sweeping, preventing wrist strain.

Can it be used as a vacuum or mulcher?

No, the DUB362 is a dedicated high-performance blower and does not feature a vacuum or mulching function.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
