Product Description

Kress 60V Commercial Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (47cm) – Battery Lawn Mower

Instantly execute massive-scale municipal turf maintenance, completely eradicate the toxic fumes of petrol engines, and guarantee absolute worksite dominance with the highly formidable Kress 60V Commercial Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (KC720.9). In the grueling commercial landscaping sector, relying on old petrol mowers means highly expensive fuel mixing, constant engine maintenance, and severe operator fatigue from pushing heavy steel decks. This elite battery lawn mower completely revolutionizes outdoor power equipment. Powered by the incredibly advanced Kress CyberSystem 60V battery platform, it features a commercial-grade brushless motor that generates a terrifying 3 kW of raw output and an instant 11 Nm of torque. This perfectly matches the devastating cutting power of a commercial petrol mower, effortlessly ripping through dense, overgrown, wet grass without ever stalling.

Engineered for unparalleled worksite endurance and ultimate operator comfort, the KC720.9 entirely eliminates the agonizing physical exhaustion of pushing. It features a heavy-duty self-propelled rear-wheel drive system with an auto-clutch differential, allowing the heavy 38kg machine to effortlessly drive itself up steep slopes at variable walking speeds (2 to 6.4 km/h). Built for absolute survival in brutal outdoor environments, it boasts a reinforced 47cm steel deck with replaceable wear plates, massive commercial-grade rubber wheels with sealed bearings, and a highly certified IPX5 waterproof rating. Featuring the revolutionary LiftStream™ airflow system that completely packs the 70L bag, this premium cordless mower is the definitive, uncompromising weapon for serious professional landscapers demanding zero emissions and petrol-crushing power.

Who Is The Kress 60V Commercial Lawn Mower Ideal For?

The KC720.9 delivers 3 kW of petrol-equivalent power, a 47cm reinforced steel deck, and self-propelled rear-wheel drive. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Landscapers & Contractors: Utilizing a devastatingly powerful, high-torque battery lawn mower to rapidly slash through dense, overgrown lawns all day without the massive operating costs of purchasing and mixing unleaded petrol.
Municipal Councils & Parks: Relying on the ultra-quiet operation and zero-emission motor to safely execute massive-scale turf maintenance around active schools, hospitals, and noise-sensitive public parks without causing severe noise complaints.
Property Maintenance Crews: Taking absolute advantage of the self-propelled drive system and differential transmission to effortlessly maneuver the heavy steel mower up steep residential embankments without suffering extreme physical exhaustion.
Eco-Conscious Facilities: Deploying the premium cordless mower to completely eradicate their carbon footprint while maintaining absolute, uncompromising petrol-level cutting performance.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Devastating 3 kW Brushless Motor: The absolute pinnacle of electric power. The commercial-grade motor generates terrifying output and 11 Nm of torque instantly from zero RPM, completely refusing to bog down or stall in thick, wet grass.
Self-Propelled Rear-Wheel Drive: Utterly eradicates operator exhaustion. The mower drives itself forward. You can adjust the speed from 2 to 6.4 km/h to match your walking pace. The auto-clutch differential allows for effortless turning without tearing the turf.
47cm Reinforced Steel Deck: Built for extreme worksite survival. While cheap domestic mowers use plastic decks that shatter, this commercial unit is forged from thick steel, heavily reinforced with replaceable wear plates to survive brutal rock impacts.
LiftStream™ Airflow System: The ultimate commercial efficiency upgrade. The aerodynamic deck violently sucks the grass up, packing the massive 70L collection bag completely to the brim, reducing the number of times you have to stop and empty it by up to 33%.
IPX5 Waterproof & Vertical Storage: Uncompromising resilience. The entire machine is sealed against extreme weather, guaranteeing safe operation in driving rain. When finished, you can fold the handles and stand the mower vertically to save massive space in your work Ute.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a battery mower really as powerful as a commercial petrol mower?

Absolutely. This is NOT a cheap domestic plastic mower. The Kress KC720.9 is a dedicated 'Commercial-Grade' machine. Its massive 60V brushless motor generates 3 kW of raw output and 11 Nm of torque, providing the exact same terrifying cutting speed as a premium 4-stroke petrol engine.

Does this kit include the battery and charger?

No. This specific listing is for the 'Skin Only' (the mower itself). To operate the machine, you must purchase a Kress Commercial 60V CyberSystem Lithium-Ion battery (backpack or slide-in) and a compatible Kress charging station separately.

What does 'Self-Propelled' mean?

Commercial steel mowers are heavy (38kg). 'Self-Propelled' means the mower has a transmission connected to the rear wheels. You engage the lever, and the mower drives itself forward. You simply steer it, completely eliminating the exhaustion of pushing it up steep hills.

How does the 'Auto-Clutch Differential' help?

Standard self-propelled mowers lock both rear wheels together, making it incredibly hard to turn corners without tearing up the grass. A differential allows the outside wheel to spin faster than the inside wheel during a turn, providing incredibly smooth, zero-effort maneuverability.

What is the 'LiftStream Airflow System'?

Standard mowers often leave half the bag empty because they lack airflow to push the grass to the back. LiftStream is a highly aerodynamic deck design that creates a violent vacuum, packing the massive 70L bag completely full to the top, slashing your downtime.

Can I mulch the grass instead of catching it?

Yes! This is a true 3-in-1 mowing system. The kit includes a 'Mulching Plug'. When inserted, it blocks the rear chute, forcing the blade to chop the grass into microscopic pieces and violently drive them back into the soil as natural fertilizer.

Can I wash the mower with a hose?

Yes! The Kress KC720.9 features a highly certified 'IPX5 Waterproof Rating'. The motor, battery connection, and internal electronics are completely sealed, allowing you to operate safely in the rain and safely hose the mud off the steel deck after use.

What are 'Replaceable Wear Plates'?

When edging against concrete curbs, the side of the steel deck takes brutal friction. Kress has bolted heavy-duty metal wear plates to the sides of the deck. When they wear down, you simply unbolt them and replace them, saving the actual mower chassis from destruction.

Can I store it standing up?

Yes! Because it has no petrol or oil to leak out, the handles are designed to fold completely flat, allowing you to stand the massive 38kg mower perfectly vertically against a wall in your garage or work Ute, saving massive amounts of floor space.

Is it quiet enough to use near a hospital or school?

Yes. This is the massive advantage of electric over petrol. The brushless motor produces zero exhaust fumes and operates at a phenomenally low noise level, easily complying with strict local council noise limits for early-morning hospital or school maintenance.

Can I use Kress batteries from my other tools in this?

Yes! The KC720.9 is fully compatible with the entire 'Kress Commercial 60V CyberSystem' platform. You can seamlessly swap massive 60V batteries between your Kress backpack blower, string trimmer, and this mower instantly.

Do you offer trade pricing for landscaping fleets?

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
