Product Description

Kress 60V Commercial Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (51cm) – Battery Lawn Mower

Instantly execute massive-scale municipal turf maintenance, completely eradicate the toxic fumes of petrol engines, and totally dominate your largest landscaping contracts with the highly formidable, extra-wide Kress 60V Commercial Self-Propelled Lawn Mower (KC711.9). In the grueling commercial landscaping sector, relying on old petrol mowers means highly expensive fuel mixing, constant engine maintenance, and severe operator fatigue. This elite, top-tier battery lawn mower completely revolutionizes massive-scale outdoor power equipment. Powered by the incredibly advanced Kress CyberSystem 60V battery platform, it features a commercial-grade brushless motor that generates a terrifying 3 kW of raw output and an instant 11 Nm of torque. This perfectly matches the devastating cutting power of a commercial petrol mower, effortlessly ripping through dense, overgrown, wet grass without ever stalling.

Engineered for unparalleled worksite endurance and ultimate operator comfort on the largest properties, the KC711.9 features a massive 51cm (20-Inch) cutting deck, allowing you to clear vast expanses of lawn in significantly fewer passes. It entirely eliminates physical exhaustion by utilizing a heavy-duty self-propelled rear-wheel drive system with an auto-clutch differential, effortlessly driving the heavy 42kg machine up steep slopes. Built for absolute survival in brutal outdoor environments, it boasts a reinforced 1.8mm steel deck with replaceable wear plates, and a highly intelligent SmartCut™ adaptive system that automatically increases blade speed when it hits thick grass. Complete with a colossal 88L grass bag and IPX5 waterproofing, this premium cordless mower is the definitive, uncompromising weapon for serious professional landscapers demanding maximum efficiency.

Who Is The Kress 60V Commercial Lawn Mower (51cm) Ideal For?

The KC711.9 delivers an extra-wide 51cm steel deck, 3 kW of petrol-equivalent power, and a massive 88L bag. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Landscapers & Contractors: Utilizing a devastatingly powerful, extra-wide battery lawn mower to rapidly slash through dense, overgrown lawns all day, completing massive contracts vastly faster than using a standard 18-inch mower.
Municipal Councils & Parks: Relying on the ultra-quiet operation and zero-emission motor to safely execute massive-scale turf maintenance around active schools, hospitals, and noise-sensitive public parks without causing severe noise complaints.
Property Maintenance Crews: Taking absolute advantage of the self-propelled drive system and differential transmission to effortlessly maneuver the massive 42kg steel mower across huge residential estates without suffering extreme physical exhaustion.
Eco-Conscious Facilities: Deploying the premium cordless mower to completely eradicate their carbon footprint while maintaining absolute, uncompromising petrol-level cutting performance across massive areas.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Massive 51cm (20-Inch) Steel Deck: The ultimate commercial labor-saver. The incredibly wide 51cm cutting path covers an enormous amount of ground in a single pass, drastically reducing the time it takes to mow massive parks and estates. The 1.8mm thick steel violently resists rock impacts.
SmartCut™ Adaptive Technology: Absolute energy efficiency. The mower's computer constantly monitors grass density. When mowing light, dry grass, it lowers the RPM to save battery. The instant you hit thick, wet weeds, it automatically surges the power to 3300 RPM to prevent stalling.
Self-Propelled Rear-Wheel Drive: Utterly eradicates operator exhaustion. The mower drives itself forward. You can adjust the speed from 0 to 6.4 km/h. The auto-clutch differential allows for effortless turning without tearing the turf.
Colossal 88L Collection Bag & LiftStream: Engineered for unbroken workflow. The massive 88L bag is paired with LiftStream aerodynamic deck technology, which violently packs the grass to the absolute brim, reducing emptying stops by up to 33%.
Devastating 3 kW Brushless Motor: The absolute pinnacle of electric power. The commercial-grade motor generates terrifying output and 11 Nm of torque instantly from zero RPM, providing the exact same cutting force as a premium 4-stroke petrol engine.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the KC720.9 and this KC711.9?

The KC711.9 is the larger, maximum-capacity model. It features an extra-wide 51cm (20-inch) cutting deck compared to 47cm, a vastly larger 88L grass bag compared to 70L, and an increased cutting height range (up to 115mm). It is designed to cover massive areas faster.

Is a battery mower really as powerful as a commercial petrol mower?

Absolutely. This is NOT a cheap domestic plastic mower. The Kress KC711.9 is a dedicated 'Commercial-Grade' machine. Its massive 60V brushless motor generates 3 kW of raw output and 11 Nm of torque, providing the exact same terrifying cutting speed as a premium petrol engine.

What does 'SmartCut Adaptive System' mean?

It is an intelligent computer controller. When mowing thin, dry grass, it lowers the blade speed to save massive amounts of battery life. The millisecond the blade hits a thick, wet patch of dense weeds, it automatically surges the motor to maximum power to completely prevent stalling.

Does this kit include the battery and charger?

No. This specific listing is for the 'Skin Only' (the mower itself). To operate the machine, you must purchase a Kress Commercial 60V CyberSystem Lithium-Ion battery (backpack or slide-in) and a compatible Kress charging station separately.

What does 'Self-Propelled' mean?

Commercial steel mowers are incredibly heavy (42kg). 'Self-Propelled' means the mower has a transmission connected to the rear wheels. You engage the lever, and the mower drives itself forward. You simply steer it, completely eliminating the exhaustion of pushing it up steep hills.

How does the 'Auto-Clutch Differential' help?

Standard self-propelled mowers lock both rear wheels together, making it incredibly hard to turn corners without tearing up the grass. A differential allows the outside wheel to spin faster than the inside wheel during a turn, providing incredibly smooth, zero-effort maneuverability.

Can I mulch the grass instead of catching it?

Yes! This is a true 3-in-1 mowing system. The kit includes a 'Mulching Plug'. When inserted, it blocks the rear chute, forcing the blade to chop the grass into microscopic pieces and violently drive them back into the soil as natural fertilizer.

Can I wash the mower with a hose?

Yes! The Kress KC711.9 features a highly certified 'IPX5 Waterproof Rating'. The motor, battery connection, and internal electronics are completely sealed, allowing you to operate safely in the rain and safely hose the mud off the 1.8mm steel deck after use.

What are 'Replaceable Wear Plates'?

When edging against concrete curbs, the side of the steel deck takes brutal friction. Kress has bolted heavy-duty metal wear plates to the sides of the deck. When they wear down, you simply unbolt them and replace them, saving the actual mower chassis from destruction.

Is it quiet enough to use near a hospital or school?

Yes. This is the massive advantage of electric over petrol. The brushless motor produces zero exhaust fumes and operates at a phenomenally low noise level, easily complying with strict local council noise limits for early-morning hospital or school maintenance.

Can I use Kress batteries from my other tools in this?

Yes! The KC711.9 is fully compatible with the entire 'Kress Commercial 60V CyberSystem' platform. You can seamlessly swap massive 60V batteries between your Kress backpack blower, string trimmer, and this mower instantly.

Do you offer trade pricing for landscaping fleets?

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
