Product Description

Kress Commercial Pole Saw Attachment (KAC361) – Pruning Saw Attachment

Instantly execute massive-scale tree canopy restoration, violently rip through thick, dense branches, and completely eradicate the terrifying OH&S hazards of using chainsaws on wobbly ladders with the highly formidable Kress Commercial Pole Saw Attachment (KAC361). In the elite commercial arboriculture and property maintenance sectors, trying to prune high-altitude tree limbs using a standard chainsaw requires highly expensive cherry pickers or dangerous ladder climbing. This elite pruning saw attachment acts as your ultimate, high-reach extraction weapon. Engineered specifically to mate seamlessly with the Kress KC120 and KAC104 60V Commercial Multi-Tool Power Hubs, it harnesses the hub's terrifying 1.3 kW brushless motor torque, driving a heavy-duty, high-speed chainsaw bar and chain that effortlessly violently slices through thick deadwood and massive overgrown branches.

Designed for absolute industrial survival and unparalleled operator safety, the KAC361 completely abandons fragile domestic designs. The precision cutting head is housed on a lightweight yet incredibly rigid aluminum pole, providing maximum upward reach while ensuring the machine remains perfectly balanced and absolutely refuses to bow under heavy torque. Maximizing worksite efficiency, it features a highly intelligent Quick-Couple connection system, allowing you to snap the massive chainsaw attachment into the power hub in seconds without using tools. Capable of delivering petrol-equivalent cutting power with absolutely zero toxic emissions or deafening noise, this premium pole chainsaw attachment is the definitive, uncompromising tool for professional arborists demanding flawless, high-altitude cutting performance.

Who Is The Kress Pole Saw Attachment Ideal For?

The KAC361 delivers high-torque chainsaw cutting, a rigid aluminum pole, and tool-free Quick-Couple installation. It is highly recommended for:

Arborists & Tree Surgeons: Utilizing a highly advanced, high-torque pruning saw attachment to rapidly execute flawless, aggressive pruning of thick, towering tree branches safely from the ground without hiring an expensive bucket truck.
Commercial Landscapers & Contractors: Relying on the incredibly precise bar and chain to safely and flawlessly maintain high-canopy street trees and commercial estates, drastically elevating the visual quality of their work.
Municipal Councils & Parks: Taking absolute advantage of the zero-emission, ultra-quiet operation to violently clear dangerous deadwood from public park trees without causing severe noise complaints from local residents.
Existing Kress Fleet Owners: Deploying the premium pole chainsaw attachment to instantly expand the capability of their existing Kress KAC104 or KC120 60V Multi-Tool Power Hubs, avoiding the massive cost of buying a dedicated petrol pole saw.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Precision Chainsaw Bar & Chain: The absolute ultimate high-altitude cutting tool. Equipped with a commercial-grade, heavy-duty guide bar and aggressive cutting chain, it generates terrifying rotational speed. It effortlessly slices through thick, hardwood branches and dense tree limbs without stalling.
High-Altitude Reach & Safety: The ultimate commercial OH&S upgrade. By placing a chainsaw at the end of a long pole, you can execute extreme high-canopy pruning while keeping both feet planted firmly on the ground, completely eliminating the terrifying liability of using chainsaws on ladders.
Lightweight & Rigid Aluminum Pole: Engineered for absolute operator control. Forged from thick, commercial-grade aluminum, the shaft is incredibly rigid. It absolutely refuses to flex or bow when holding the heavy chainsaw attachment high in the air, reducing shoulder fatigue.
Modular Quick-Couple System: The ultimate commercial labor-saver. The attachment features a highly intelligent connection shaft. You simply slide it into the Kress Power Hub and tighten the collar—absolutely no tools or wrenches required, taking mere seconds.
Flawless Torque Transfer: Uncompromising cutting power. The internal steel drive shaft perfectly transfers the massive 1.3 kW rotational torque from the Kress brushless motor directly into the chainsaw sprocket, ensuring petrol-equivalent performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this attachment on its own?

Absolutely NOT. This is strictly an 'Attachment'. It does not have an electric motor or a battery slot. To use this pole saw, you MUST plug it into a Kress Commercial Multi-Tool Power Hub (like the KAC104 or KC120), which provides the terrifying rotational power.

Will this fit my petrol Stihl or Honda multi-tool?

No. The highly specialized 'Quick-Couple' drive shaft system is strictly proprietary to Kress. It will absolutely not fit or operate safely on petrol multi-tools from other brands like Stihl, Honda, or Husqvarna.

Is an electric pole saw actually strong enough to cut thick branches?

Absolutely. When paired with the Kress Power Hub, this attachment harnesses a massive 1.3 kW of brushless motor torque. It provides the exact same terrifying cutting speed and raw power as a heavy-duty 25cc 2-stroke petrol pole saw.

Does it need chain oil?

YES! Just like a standard chainsaw, the cutting head features a small oil reservoir. You MUST fill this with sticky 'Bar & Chain Oil' before use. The automatic pump continuously lubricates the spinning chain, preventing catastrophic friction and bar destruction.

Is it difficult to attach to the Power Hub?

Not at all. The Kress Quick-Couple system is completely tool-free. You simply loosen the collar on the Power Hub, slide the KAC361 attachment shaft in until the button clicks securely, and tighten the collar. It takes roughly 5 seconds.

Can I make this even longer?

Yes! Kress manufactures an optional 'Extension Shaft' (KAC360 - sold separately). You simply click the extension into the Power Hub, and then click this Pole Saw into the top of the extension, giving you massive, towering reach into the canopy.

Will the aluminum pole bend when cutting?

No. Kress has engineered this shaft using high-strength, commercial-grade aluminum tubing. It is incredibly rigid and specifically designed to support the heavy weight of the chainsaw head pressing down on thick branches without whipping or bowing.

Do I need to sharpen the chain?

Yes. After months of commercial use, or if you accidentally hit a rock or wire inside the tree, the chainsaw teeth will dull. The chain can be easily sharpened using a standard round chainsaw file, or replaced entirely with a new Kress chain.

Is it heavy to hold above my head?

The attachment is engineered to be as lightweight as possible. However, holding a chainsaw head above your head all day requires physical strength. The Kress system is perfectly balanced to make the leverage as ergonomic and comfortable as possible.

Can I use this in the rain?

While the mechanical attachment itself is fine in the wet, its safety in the rain depends entirely on the Power Hub. Because the Kress KAC104 Hub features an IPX5 waterproof rating, you can safely use this complete pruning system in a torrential downpour.

Is it quiet enough to use near a hospital?

Yes. This is the massive advantage of electric over petrol. The brushless motor produces zero exhaust fumes and operates at a phenomenally low noise level, easily complying with the strictest local council noise limits for noise-sensitive public areas.

Do you offer trade pricing for arborists?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for commercial arborists, landscaping contractors, and municipal councils outfitting their fleets with zero-emission Kress equipment. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.
