Product Description

Kress 60V Professional Battery (8 Ah) – Lithium-Ion Battery

Instantly completely eradicate crippling worksite downtime, maximize your commercial landscaping agility, and guarantee absolutely relentless, petrol-equivalent power with the highly advanced Kress 60V Professional Battery (8 Ah / KA3018). In the highly demanding commercial contract cleaning and forestry sectors, utilizing small, low-capacity batteries forces operators to constantly stop working to swap power packs, completely destroying efficiency. This elite lithium-ion battery acts as your ultimate, high-capacity energy reservoir. Operating at the core of the Kress Commercial CyberSystem, it delivers a massive 8 Ah of robust energy. This guarantees your heavy-duty chainsaws, massive commercial mowers, and high-performance blowers possess terrifying, 100% full-throttle torque for extended periods without ever fading.

Engineered for unparalleled industrial survival and extreme worksite intelligence, the Kress KA3018 completely redefines battery technology. It features highly advanced Cell Guard™ 360º protection, wrapping every individual cell to completely shield them from violent impacts, extreme moisture, and brutal worksite vibration. Maximizing fleet efficiency, it boasts SmartLink™ intelligent battery management and HeatShield™ thermal control. These systems work flawlessly to regulate temperature and optimize power delivery, entirely preventing the battery from overheating or overloading during brutal, heavy-duty cutting. Boasting a fully waterproof design and an on-board LED capacity indicator, this premium 60V tool battery is the definitive, uncompromising power source for professionals demanding flawless performance across massive acreages.

Who Is The Kress 60V Professional 8Ah Battery Ideal For?

The KA3018 delivers a massive 8 Ah capacity, SmartLink™ management, and rugged Cell Guard™ protection. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Landscapers & Contractors: Utilizing a highly advanced, massive-capacity lithium-ion battery to power commercial self-propelled mowers and high-velocity blowers for extended shifts, completely eliminating the constant frustration of swapping dead batteries.
Arborists & Forestry Crews: Relying on the incredibly powerful 60V platform to deliver massive, sustained torque to heavy-duty chainsaws, violently ripping through thick, dense hardwood tree trunks without the battery overheating and shutting down.
Municipal Councils & Parks: Taking absolute advantage of the rugged, anti-vibration construction to ensure the battery easily survives the brutal, daily physical abuse of being handled by dozens of different public maintenance workers.
Acreage Property Owners: Deploying the premium 60V tool battery to completely eradicate their reliance on highly toxic, expensive 2-stroke petrol, ensuring they can clear their entire massive property on a single charge.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Massive 8 Ah High-Capacity Power: Uncompromising commercial endurance. This massive energy reservoir guarantees that high-draw equipment like commercial mowers and blowers run for significantly extended periods, drastically slashing worksite downtime.
SmartLink™ Intelligent Management: The ultimate battery lifesaver. The internal computer continuously monitors temperature, voltage, and cell balance, communicating directly with the Kress tool to deliver perfectly optimized power while preventing catastrophic overloads.
Cell Guard™ 360º Protection: Built for extreme worksite survival. Every single lithium cell is individually wrapped and insulated. This violently protects the delicate internals from severe drops, heavy vibration, and highly corrosive moisture.
HeatShield™ Thermal Control: Utterly eradicates thermal damage. Discharging massive power generates extreme heat. The internal insulation and air-cooling channels rapidly disperse this heat, preventing the battery from 'thermal-throttling' and shutting down during a heavy cut.
Fully Waterproof & LED Indicator: Unyielding environmental resilience. The fully waterproof casing guarantees safe operation in torrential rain. The on-board LED button allows you to instantly check the remaining charge, ensuring you never carry a dead battery onto a massive site.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the massive advantage of an '8 Ah' battery?

Ah (Amp-Hours) measures the 'gas tank' of the battery. A standard 4Ah battery provides good runtime, but a massive 8 Ah battery holds literally DOUBLE the energy. This is critical for high-draw tools like commercial lawn mowers and blowers, allowing you to run them twice as long before recharging.

Is this battery too heavy for handheld tools?

An 8 Ah battery is physically larger and heavier than a 4 Ah battery due to having twice as many lithium cells. While you can use it on a handheld hedge trimmer, it may cause arm fatigue. It is absolutely perfectly balanced for wheeled lawn mowers, backpack tools, and chainsaws.

What does 'Cell Guard 360º Protection' mean?

Cheap batteries place all the lithium cells in a thin plastic box; if you drop it, the cells smash and catch fire. Kress 'Cell Guard' individually encases every single cell in a highly protective, impact-resistant resin. This violently protects the battery from massive drops and heavy chainsaw vibration.

Will this battery fit all my Kress Commercial tools?

Yes! The KAC3018 is universally compatible with the entire 'Kress 60V Commercial CyberSystem' platform. You can seamlessly slide it into your Kress grass trimmers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers instantly.

Does it come with a charger?

No. This listing is for the massive 8Ah battery only. To charge the KA3018, you must purchase a compatible Kress 60V Commercial Battery Charger (such as the KA3713 or KA3706) separately.

Will the tool lose power as the battery drains?

No. The highly advanced SmartLink™ Battery Management System (BMS) guarantees 'Fade-Free' power. Your Kress chainsaw or blower will run at 100% maximum torque and speed until the battery is completely empty, at which point it simply shuts off safely.

Can I leave this battery out in the rain?

Yes! The Kress KA3018 features a highly certified 'Fully Waterproof Design'. The internal PCB (circuit board) is completely sealed, allowing you to operate your heavy-duty landscaping tools safely and flawlessly during a torrential downpour without shorting the battery out.

How do I know how much charge is left?

The battery features a highly visible LED capacity indicator directly on the casing. You simply push the button, and the bright LED lights instantly display exactly how much charge remains, ensuring you never walk out to a massive jobsite with a dead battery.

What is 'HeatShield Thermal Control'?

When batteries power massive tools like chainsaws, they discharge energy rapidly and get scorching hot, which degrades the lithium. HeatShield is advanced internal insulation that actively disperses this heat, keeping the battery incredibly cool and preventing it from shutting down mid-cut.

Can I charge this on the massive 8-Minute CyberTank charger?

The 8-minute charging technology is specifically engineered for the 'CyberPack' line (like the KAC804). This KA3018 is a standard high-capacity lithium-ion battery. It requires standard Kress Commercial chargers (like the KA3713 or KA3706) and will charge at their highly rapid, respective rates.

Can I use this battery on Kress 20V domestic tools?

No. This battery is strictly part of the '60V Commercial CyberSystem'. It is vastly more powerful and operates on a completely different voltage and physical connector than the smaller 20V domestic DIY tools.

Do you offer trade pricing for landscaping fleets?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for commercial landscaping contractors, municipal councils, and facility managers transitioning their fleets to zero-emission Kress batteries. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
