Karcher WB 130 Rotary Wash Brush – Pressure Washer Car Brush (2.644-288.0)

Transform your high-pressure blasting machine into the ultimate delicate surface cleaner with the Karcher WB 130 Rotary Wash Brush (2.644-288.0). High-pressure water is excellent for concrete, but it is often too aggressive for washing cars, glass, or plastic outdoor furniture, as it can strip paint or force water past window seals. This highly innovative pressure washer car brush solves that problem. By utilizing the water flow from your Karcher machine to rapidly spin the internal brush head, it delivers the perfect balance of gentle, non-scratch bristle agitation and continuous low-pressure rinsing, allowing you to effortlessly scrub away stubborn road grime, bird droppings, and thick dust without risking surface damage.

Engineered for maximum versatility and visual appeal, the WB 130 features a highly durable, transparent plastic housing, allowing you to physically monitor the spinning turbine and water flow during operation. The brush is incredibly hygienic and convenient; it boasts an integrated quick-release lever that allows you to pop out and change the brush attachments without ever getting your hands wet or dirty. Perfectly compatible with the entire range of domestic Karcher K2 to K7 pressure washers, this rotating wash brush attachment is the definitive tool for fastidious homeowners looking to detail vehicles, wash motorcycles, and clean delicate conservatory windows safely and rapidly.

Who Is This Rotary Wash Brush Ideal For?

The Karcher WB 130 Wash Brush provides gentle, powered scrubbing. It is highly recommended for:

  • Automotive Enthusiasts: Safely agitating heavy traffic film and snow foam off luxury car clear-coats and motorcycle fairings using a dedicated pressure washer car brush that prevents severe swirl marks.
  • Homeowners with Conservatories: Utilizing the spinning soft bristles and continuous water flow to effortlessly scrub bird droppings and dust off delicate glass windows and perspex patio roofs.
  • Caravan & RV Owners: Rapidly washing massive, flat side panels, fiberglass shells, and delicate plastic windows without the risk of high-pressure water forcing its way past the weather seals.
  • Garden Furniture Maintenance: Scrubbing deeply ingrained dirt out of the textured weaves of plastic outdoor dining chairs, BBQ covers, and delicate painted balcony railings.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

  • Water-Driven Rotary Action: The internal turbine uses the machine's water flow to spin the soft brush head rapidly, doing all the hard scrubbing work for you while constantly rinsing the dirt away.
  • Safe for Delicate Surfaces: The high-quality bristles are specifically engineered to be tough on dirt but exceptionally gentle on delicate automotive paintwork, glass, and high-gloss plastics.
  • Hygienic Quick-Release Lever: Features an innovative release mechanism on the side. Simply push the lever to eject the brush head instantly without having to grab the dirty, soapy bristles with your bare hands.
  • Transparent Clear Housing: The premium clear casing not only looks highly professional but allows you to visually confirm the internal turbine is spinning and water is flowing correctly.
  • Interchangeable Brush Heads: The quick-release system allows you to easily swap the standard brush for optional, specialized Karcher attachments (like the microfiber 'Car & Bike' attachment, sold separately).

How does the brush actually spin?

The brush does not require batteries or electricity. It features an internal plastic water turbine. The pressurized water flowing from your Karcher machine physically pushes the turbine blades, causing the brush head to spin rapidly.

Will this scratch the dark paint on my car?

No. The standard bristles on the WB 130 are manufactured from a specialized, ultra-soft synthetic material explicitly designed to agitate dirt without causing swirl marks or scratching delicate automotive clear coats.

How does the quick-release lever work?

There is a small lever on the side of the clear plastic housing. When you push it, the spinning brush attachment pops off automatically. This is a brilliant feature because you don't have to grab a filthy, muddy brush with your hands to change it.

Can I use soap through this brush?

Absolutely! Because the brush drops the water pressure, it will automatically trigger your Karcher's internal chemical injector (or Plug 'n' Clean system). It will pull soapy water through the machine and spray it directly out through the spinning bristles.

Will this brush fit my old Karcher from the 1990s?

This brush features the modern Karcher bayonet fitting. It will fit almost all Karcher machines made in the last 15 years. However, if you have an extremely old machine (pre-2010), you may need to purchase the Karcher 'Adapter M' to make it fit.

Can I use this to scrub my concrete driveway?

It is highly discouraged. The bristles are very soft, designed for car paint and glass. Scrubbing rough, abrasive concrete will completely shred and destroy the soft bristles within minutes. Use a Karcher T-Racer or Dirt Blaster for concrete.

Will this brush fit a domestic Gerni or Ryobi machine?

No. The connection plug on the back of this brush is a proprietary Karcher twist-and-lock bayonet fitting. It is designed strictly to fit into Karcher trigger guns and will not fit other brands without a specific adapter.

Can I put a microfiber pad on this brush?

Yes! Because of the quick-release system, Karcher sells interchangeable attachments for this brush housing. You can easily remove the bristle head and snap in the specialized Karcher 'Car & Bike' microfiber flail attachment (sold separately).

Can I run hot water through this brush?

This accessory is designed for domestic cold-water pressure washers. You can safely use warm tap water (up to roughly 40ºC), but you must never use boiling hot water, as it will warp the clear plastic casing and melt the internal turbine.

What happens if the brush stops spinning?

If it stops spinning, it usually means a tiny piece of sand or hard water scale has bypassed your filter and jammed the internal plastic turbine. You can usually fix this by soaking the brush head in warm water to clear the grit.
