Product Description

Karcher NW35 Vacuum Connection Cone Adapter (5.407-005.0)

The Karcher NW35 Connection Cone (5.407-005.0) is a precision-engineered vacuum replacement part designed to ensure a secure, airtight seal between your Karcher commercial vacuum hose and compatible accessories. In commercial cleaning environments, compromised connections lead to significant suction loss, reducing operational efficiency. This genuine OEM adapter effectively joins NW35 (Nominal Width 35mm) hoses to corresponding extension wands and floor tools, restoring your vacuum's maximum extraction capability.

Manufactured from high-grade, impact-resistant industrial plastic, this vacuum connection adapter is built to withstand the rigorous physical demands of construction sites and facility maintenance. The friction-fit conical design ensures rapid, tool-free attachment changes, allowing operators to transition seamlessly between tasks. It is an essential, highly economical spare part for maintaining the operational integrity of your Karcher wet and dry vacuum fleet.

Ideal For:

Commercial Cleaning Contractors: Replaces cracked or worn hose connectors to instantly restore 100% suction power during daily maintenance routes.
Machine Repair & Maintenance: Provides technicians with an exact-fit OEM component to execute reliable, airtight repairs on commercial vacuum fleets.
Construction Worksites: Built from durable materials that resist cracking and wear in harsh, high-impact industrial environments.

Key Features & Operational Benefits:

Airtight Suction Seal: Precision-molded conical geometry prevents vacuum bypass leaks, ensuring maximum dirt and liquid extraction.
Exact OEM Fitment: Designed explicitly for Karcher NW35 systems, guaranteeing flawless compatibility with genuine hoses and accessories.
Commercial Durability: Forged from robust industrial plastic to survive heavy daily use without warping or degrading.
Tool-Free Installation: Push-fit design allows operators to quickly attach and remove the cone, minimizing worksite downtime.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of this connection cone?

The connection cone acts as an adapter, providing a secure, airtight link between the flexible vacuum hose and the rigid extension wands or cleaning accessories.

What does 'NW35' mean?

NW stands for 'Nominal Width'. NW35 means this component is engineered to fit Karcher commercial vacuum systems that utilize a 35mm connection diameter.

Is this a genuine Karcher replacement part?

Yes, this is a 100% genuine OEM replacement adapter manufactured by Karcher Professional, ensuring perfect fitment and reliable performance.

Why has my vacuum lost suction power?

If the motor is running properly but suction is weak, your current hose connector may be cracked or worn, allowing air to escape. Replacing the connection cone restores the airtight seal.

Do I need tools to install this adapter?

No. The conical design uses a tight friction fit, allowing you to simply push it securely onto the compatible hose end by hand.

Will this fit my domestic Karcher WD vacuum?

Many Karcher WD (Wet & Dry) domestic vacuums use a 35mm system, but this specific part is designed for the commercial range. Please verify the exact part diagram for your machine before purchasing.

Can I use this for wet vacuuming?

Yes. The high-grade plastic construction is entirely rust-proof and waterproof, making it perfectly safe for both dry dust extraction and liquid recovery.

Is the plastic durable?

Yes, it is manufactured from heavy-duty industrial polymers designed to withstand drops, impacts, and the friction of daily commercial cleaning.

Does it click into place?

The connection style depends on your specific hose generation. Standard conical adapters typically rely on a tight, wedge-style friction fit to secure the accessories.

Will this fit a 40mm vacuum hose?

No. This adapter is strictly for 35mm (NW35) systems. If you have a 40mm system, you require the NW40 Connection Cone (5.407-006.0).

Can it be used to adapt a 35mm hose to a 32mm tool?

No, this is a direct replacement cone for 35mm to 35mm fittings, not a step-down reducer.

Do you offer trade accounts for vacuum repair technicians?

Yes, Freshway Supplies offers volume pricing and trade accounts for machine repair workshops and commercial cleaners. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
