Product Description

Flat PVC Urinal Screen – Cherry Fragrance (URFL-CHERRY)

Maintain impeccable washroom hygiene and prevent costly plumbing emergencies with the Flat PVC Urinal Screen in Cherry Fragrance (URFL-CHERRY). In high-traffic commercial washrooms, urinals are frequently subjected to foreign debris such as chewing gum, cigarette butts, and paper waste. This heavy-duty PVC screen acts as an impenetrable physical barrier, sitting flat over the urinal drain to block solid waste before it can enter and severely clog the facility's internal pipework.

Beyond physical protection, the URFL-CHERRY actively enhances the olfactory environment of the washroom. The flexible PVC material is heavily infused with a pleasant, long-lasting cherry fragrance. As the urinal is used and flushed, the screen continuously releases this scent, effectively neutralizing pungent uric acid odors at the source. Designed to flex and conform to the base of most standard commercial urinals, this washroom supply is a highly economical, essential maintenance tool for hospitality venues, stadiums, and corporate facilities dedicated to providing a clean, fresh-smelling patron experience.

Ideal For:

Hospitality & Pubs: Prevents late-night patrons from washing chewing gum and cigarette butts down the drain, saving thousands in emergency plumbing call-outs.
Public Venues & Stadiums: Masks heavy biological odors during peak usage events with a strong, continuous cherry scent.
Corporate Office Washrooms: Maintains a consistently fresh, professional environment, improving the overall cleanliness perception of the facility.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Drain Blockage Prevention: The dense PVC grid structure reliably catches coarse solid debris while allowing fluids to drain freely and efficiently.
Continuous Odor Control: Embedded with a commercial-strength cherry fragrance that actively fights and neutralizes foul urine odors for weeks.
Flexible Flat Design: The pliable PVC material easily bends to match the unique contours of standard ceramic and stainless steel trough urinals.
Anti-Splash Surface: The textured screen surface helps to diffuse and break up the urine stream, minimizing unhygienic splashback onto the floor and walls.
Economical Washroom Maintenance: A highly cost-effective, low-maintenance solution that protects capital plumbing infrastructure effortlessly.

Technical Specifications:

Product Code: URFL-CHERRY
Product Type: Urinal Screen / Drain Protector
Material: Flexible PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the primary purpose of a urinal screen?

A urinal screen serves two critical functions: it physically blocks debris (like gum, paper, and cigarette butts) from washing down and clogging the drain, and it releases a continuous fragrance to neutralize foul washroom odors.

How long does the cherry fragrance last?

In a standard commercial washroom, the infused fragrance typically provides active odor control for 30 days. In extremely high-traffic venues (like stadiums), it may require more frequent replacement.

Will this screen fit my specific urinal?

Yes. The flat design is made from highly flexible PVC, allowing it to easily bend and conform to the base of almost all standard ceramic bowl urinals and stainless steel trough urinals.

Does this screen prevent splashback?

Yes. The textured grid design of the PVC screen helps to diffuse the fluid stream upon impact, significantly reducing unhygienic splashback onto the patron and the surrounding floor tiles.

Do I need to clean or wash the screen?

No. Urinal screens are strictly disposable consumables. Once the fragrance has faded or the screen becomes heavily soiled with trapped debris, it should be removed with gloves, discarded in the bin, and replaced with a fresh one.

Does the cherry scent mix poorly with urine smells?

No, the screen is formulated specifically with counteractants that neutralize uric acid odors rather than simply masking them, leaving only the clean, sweet cherry fragrance behind.

Is the PVC material safe for the urinal?

Yes. The flexible PVC is completely non-abrasive. It will not scratch or damage the highly polished ceramic porcelain or stainless steel surfaces of the urinal.

Can I use strong bleach or acid cleaners over the top of the screen?

While the PVC is chemically resistant, pouring raw, highly concentrated acid or bleach directly onto the screen may degrade the embedded fragrance oils faster. It is best to clean the urinal around the screen or remove it briefly during heavy chemical descaling.

Are these screens supplied individually wrapped?

Please check the specific packaging details upon delivery, but generally, commercial urinal screens are supplied in sealed multi-packs to preserve their intense fragrance during storage.

Does it contain a cleaning block (urinal block) in the center?

No. This specific model (URFL-CHERRY) is a flat, scented PVC grid screen. It does not contain a solid, dissolving enzymatic cleaning block in the center.

How do I dispose of the old screen?

Wearing appropriate janitorial gloves, lift the old screen out of the urinal, shake off excess liquid, and dispose of it directly into a general waste bin.

Do you offer trade pricing for facility management companies?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides trade accounts and bulk volume pricing for commercial cleaners, pubs, and facility managers ordering washroom consumables. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
