Product Description

1/4-Inch Female Brass Solution Hose Connector (CON-F)

Ensure a flawless, high-pressure fluid seal on your professional carpet cleaning equipment with the 1/4-Inch Female Brass Solution Hose Connector (CON-F). Designed for the rigorous demands of commercial spray extraction, this heavy-duty quick connect coupling securely links the pressurized cleaning solution line from the machine to your wand or upholstery tool. Utilizing cheap plastic or degraded fittings leads to severe chemical leaks, causing hazardous worksite spills and a massive drop in spray pressure.

Forged from premium, corrosion-resistant solid brass, this 1/4-inch female quick-disconnect fitting is engineered to withstand extreme heat, highly corrosive cleaning detergents, and intense mechanical pressure. The internal ball-bearing locking mechanism allows operators to rapidly swap between floor wands and hand tools without requiring wrenches or suffering worksite downtime. It is an indispensable, high-reliability carpet extractor spare part for commercial carpet cleaners, automotive detailers, and disaster restoration teams.

Ideal For:

Professional Carpet Cleaners: Eliminates frustrating water leaks and pressure drops at the hose junction, ensuring consistent, powerful chemical delivery to the floor wand.
Automotive Detailers: Allows for rapid, one-handed swapping between short crevice extractors and wide upholstery tools when detailing complex vehicle interiors.
Equipment Repair Workshops: A highly durable, universal standard fitting for rebuilding and upgrading pressurized solution lines on commercial extraction machinery.

Key Features & Operational Benefits:

Solid Brass Construction: Completely immune to rust and highly resistant to chemical corrosion, providing exceptional longevity under severe commercial abuse.
1/4-Inch Industry Standard: Fits standard 1/4-inch male quick-connect plugs found on the vast majority of commercial carpet extraction wands and hoses.
High-Pressure Tolerance: Securely contains high-heat and high-pressure fluid without bypassing, ensuring a powerful, consistent spray pattern at the nozzle.
Rapid Quick-Release Mechanism: The retractable collar allows operators to connect and disconnect pressurized lines instantly without tools, optimizing workflow.

Technical Specifications:

Product Code: CON-F
Product Type: Solution Hose Connector / Quick Disconnect Coupling
Material: Solid Brass
Fitting Size: 1/4-Inch (Female Socket)
Application: Pressurized liquid solution lines for commercial carpet and upholstery extractors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the primary function of this connector?

This brass coupling connects the thin, high-pressure liquid solution hose to the metal cleaning wand or upholstery tool. It acts as a quick-release valve, allowing water and chemicals to flow without leaking.

What does '1/4-inch Female' mean?

1/4-inch refers to the industry-standard sizing of the fitting. 'Female' means this is the socket half (the piece with the retractable collar) that receives the corresponding 1/4-inch 'Male' plug.

Why is brass better than plastic fittings?

Solid brass is vastly superior for commercial extraction. It will not rust, it can easily withstand boiling hot water without warping, and it will not shatter if dropped onto a concrete floor like plastic fittings do.

Will this fit my Karcher Puzzi machine?

Karcher Puzzi machines typically use proprietary plastic fittings (like the 6.394-826.0 system). This standard brass 1/4-inch fitting is generally designed for universal commercial extractors (e.g., Polivac, Steamvac, Mytee). You must verify your machine uses standard 1/4-inch brass quick connects.

How does the quick-connect mechanism work?

You simply pull back the textured brass sleeve (collar), push the male plug inside the fitting, and release the sleeve. Internal steel ball bearings snap into place, locking the fitting securely and creating a watertight seal.

Why is my current fitting leaking water everywhere?

Leaks occur when the internal rubber O-ring inside the female fitting wears out from chemical exposure, or when the ball bearings rust and fail to lock the male plug tightly. Replacing the female fitting resolves this instantly.

Can I use this for the vacuum hose?

No. This tiny 1/4-inch brass fitting is strictly for the pressurized liquid solution line. The large, corrugated vacuum hose requires a completely different 32mm, 35mm, or 40mm plastic cuff.

Is it safe to use with highly acidic carpet chemicals?

Yes. Brass is highly resistant to standard commercial carpet extraction chemicals, traffic lane cleaners, and standard acid rinses, ensuring a long operational lifespan.

Does this listing include the male plug?

No. This listing is exclusively for the Female Quick Connect socket (CON-F). The corresponding 1/4-inch male plug is sold separately.

Can this be used on a high-pressure washer?

While brass fittings look similar, standard carpet extractor fittings are generally not rated for the extreme 3000+ PSI generated by industrial pressure washers. This is rated for carpet extraction pumps (typically 50 to 500 PSI).

Do I need thread tape to install it?

Yes. When screwing this brass fitting onto the threaded end of your solution hose, you must apply Teflon (PTFE) thread tape to the threads to ensure a permanent, watertight seal.

Do you offer trade pricing for carpet cleaning technicians?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides volume pricing and trade accounts for commercial carpet cleaners and machine repair workshops. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
