Product Description

Electrolux 32mm Long Rod (750mm) – Vacuum Extension Rod (RAE032)

Eliminate severe operator back strain and effortlessly extend your cleaning reach with the premium Electrolux 32mm Long Rod (750mm). In high-demand commercial environments, using a standard, short vacuum pipe forces the operator to constantly hunch over, leading to severe postural fatigue and drastically reduced productivity. This specialized vacuum extension rod provides an impressive 750mm of rigid length, allowing cleaners of all heights to stand completely upright while sweeping, drastically improving ergonomics and accelerating workflow across expansive office floors and long corridors.

Engineered precisely for the universally popular 32mm standard, this heavy-duty commercial vacuum wand seamlessly connects to compatible Electrolux systems and a massive array of commercial backpack vacuums. Constructed from premium, high-grade lightweight metal, it provides exceptional structural rigidity without adding unnecessary weight to the operator's arms. By upgrading your existing setup with this ultra-durable vacuum cleaner pipe, you guarantee a flawless, airtight connection between your flexible hose and floor tools, ensuring your machine delivers 100% of its suction power directly to the carpet.

Who Is This 750mm Long Vacuum Rod Ideal For?

The Electrolux RAE032 delivers exceptional 750mm reach and lightweight durability. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Cleaning Contractors: Equipping their staff with a highly ergonomic vacuum extension rod to drastically reduce lower back pain during long, 8-hour contract cleaning shifts.
Tall Operators: Replacing uncomfortably short factory pipes with a 750mm extended commercial vacuum wand that allows them to stand completely straight while vacuuming.
Hotel & Hospitality Janitors: Utilizing the extended reach to effortlessly vacuum far under massive king-size hotel beds and reach high ceiling cobwebs without standing on chairs.
Appliance Repair Technicians: Keeping a supply of universal 32mm metal rods to instantly replace dented or crushed pipes on clients' commercial Electrolux machines.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Extended 750mm Length: Provides significantly more reach than standard tubes, completely eliminating the need to bend over while sweeping, which drastically improves operator comfort.
Universal 32mm Fitment: Engineered specifically for the standard 32mm internal/external diameter, making it highly compatible with major commercial machines and standard floor tools.
Premium Metal Construction: Manufactured from rigid, high-gauge lightweight metal. It will not bend or snap under heavy downward sweeping pressure like cheap plastic wands often do.
Airtight Friction Fit: Designed with a precision taper that wedges tightly into your bent end piece (handle) and floor tool, completely preventing frustrating suction leaks.
Perfect Pairing: Explicitly designed to be paired flawlessly with the Electrolux Long Bent End Piece (BPBLUX) to create the ultimate commercial wand assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does '32mm' mean?

32mm refers to the external and internal diameter sizing standard of the connection points. It means this rod will push perfectly into a 32mm floor tool, and will perfectly accept a 32mm hose handle.

How do I measure my vacuum to see if this fits?

Take your current metal vacuum pipe. Measure straight across the circular opening at the very bottom end (the end that goes into the floor tool). You are measuring the OUTSIDE diameter. If it is exactly 32mm, this rod will fit your system.

How long is this vacuum extension rod?

This specialized Electrolux rod is exactly 750mm (75 cm) long, making it an excellent extended-reach option for taller operators or reaching deep under furniture.

Will this fit my Dyson stick vacuum?

No. Modern Dyson stick vacuums (like the V8, V10, V15) use highly proprietary, non-round plastic click-fittings with electrical pins. This is a standard round, friction-fit rod designed for traditional commercial vacuums.

What is the benefit of a long rod?

A long rod allows the operator to stand completely upright with a natural, straight spine while vacuuming the floor. It prevents the severe lower back pain caused by hunching over a short pipe.

Does this include the plastic handle (Bent End Piece)?

No. This listing is strictly for the straight 750mm metal rod only. The plastic handle that attaches to the flexible hose (like the BPBLUX) must be purchased separately or reused from your old setup.

Is this rod made of plastic or metal?

This is a premium, high-quality metal rod. Metal provides the necessary structural rigidity to withstand heavy downward sweeping pressure without bending or snapping on commercial jobsites.

Can I connect two of these rods together?

Yes. Because they feature a tapered friction-fit design, you can firmly push the bottom of one rod into the top of another to create an ultra-long 1.5-metre wand for reaching high ceilings or deeply recessed air vents.

Will this fit my Pacvac backpack vacuum?

Yes, absolutely. Pacvac commercial backpacks exclusively use the standard 32mm wand system. This 750mm metal rod will act as a perfect, direct compatible replacement for a standard Pacvac wand.

Does it lock into place with a button?

No, it utilizes a standard industrial 'friction-fit'. The metal has a very slight taper; you simply push it hard into your floor tool, and the friction locks it tightly into an airtight seal.

Can I attach a small dusting brush directly to this rod?

Yes! If you are dusting high ceiling fans or tall blinds, you can push any standard 32mm dusting brush or crevice tool directly onto the end of this long rod for massive reach.

Why do I need to replace my vacuum cleaner pipe?

Over time, metal wands get crushed, dented, or the ends wear down from friction. A dented pipe severely restricts airflow, and a worn pipe will constantly fall out of the floor tool. Replacing it restores perfect suction and usability.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
