Product Description

Edco Deluxe Fan & Cobweb Brush with Telescopic Handle – Industrial Cleaning Tools

Execute highly efficient, zero-ladder high dusting and significantly mitigate strict worksite fall hazards with the highly versatile Edco Deluxe Fan Brush with Extension Handle (41302). In the professional facility maintenance and domestic cleaning sectors, clearing dust from high ceiling fans, exposed architectural rafters, and complex air conditioning vents using ladders is highly dangerous and extremely slow. This professional-grade set of commercial cleaning supplies provides the ultimate, ground-based solution. Engineered with a highly flexible wire core and thick, densely packed bristles, it actively traps heavy dust and sticky cobwebs, allowing operators to safely maintain high fixtures while standing firmly on the floor.

Designed for absolute worksite versatility and uncompromising operator convenience, the Edco Deluxe Fan Brush features a unique, fully moldable head. The operator can physically bend the brush into a 'U' or 'C' shape, allowing it to seamlessly wrap completely around the top and bottom of ceiling fan blades, cleaning both sides simultaneously in a single pass. Supplied complete with a lightweight, telescopic extension handle that extends up to 1600mm, it provides an exceptional operational reach. Furthermore, the brush head can be detached and fitted to the heavy-duty Edco Pro Pole range for extreme-height warehouse work. By deploying these premium industrial cleaning tools, contract cleaners and homeowners can guarantee a meticulously clean environment without the severe OH&S risks of height work.

Who Is The Edco Deluxe Fan Brush Ideal For?

The Edco 41302 Fan Brush delivers a moldable wire-core head, dense dust-trapping bristles, and a 1600mm telescopic extension pole. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Cleaning Contractors: Utilizing a highly versatile set of commercial cleaning supplies to rapidly dust ceiling fans, air conditioning vents, and high cornices in massive corporate offices completely from the ground.
Facility OH&S Managers: Relying on the 1600mm telescopic extension handle to strictly comply with workplace health and safety regulations. Eliminating the use of step-ladders massively reduces insurance liabilities and prevents severe worksite fall injuries.
Domestic Households & Homeowners: Taking absolute advantage of the moldable brush head to easily wrap around and clean heavy, sticky dust off bedroom ceiling fan blades without spreading the dirt all over the bed below.
Warehouse & Industrial Maintenance: Deploying premium industrial cleaning tools. The brush head can be attached to massive commercial extension poles to safely sweep cobwebs from extreme-height industrial warehouse rafters.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Fully Moldable Wire-Core Head: The ultimate detailing advantage. The thick internal wire allows the operator to bend the brush into any shape. Bend it into a 'U' to clean both sides of a fan blade simultaneously, or bend it to a 90-degree angle to dust the absolute top of high bookshelves.
Dense Dust-Trapping Bristles: Ensures a comprehensive clean. The thick synthetic bristles aggressively grab and hold onto heavy, sticky dust and thick cobwebs, ensuring the dirt is removed rather than just being flicked into the air.
1600mm Telescopic Extension Handle: Prioritizes operator safety. The included lightweight pole extends from 1000mm up to 1600mm. Combined with the height of the operator, this easily provides enough reach to clean standard 9-foot ceilings without a ladder.
Edco Pro Pole Compatible: Highly versatile hardware. The brush head features a standardized commercial thread. It can be unscrewed from the included handle and attached to massive, multi-stage Edco Pro Poles for cleaning extreme-height commercial atriums.
Washable & Reusable Design: Exceptional commercial value. Unlike disposable dusting pads, this heavy-duty synthetic brush can be washed out with water, dried, and reused hundreds of times, drastically reducing ongoing consumable costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does 'Moldable Head' mean?

The core of the brush is made from a thick, heavy-duty, flexible wire rather than rigid plastic. You can physically bend the brush into a curve, a 'U' shape, or a 90-degree right angle so it perfectly hugs the contour of whatever you are dusting.

How do I clean a ceiling fan with this?

You simply bend the brush head into a 'U' shape. You slide the 'U' directly over the edge of the ceiling fan blade. As you pull the brush toward you, it aggressively dusts the top, the bottom, and the edge of the blade all at the exact same time.

How long is the included extension pole?

The included lightweight telescopic pole is 1000mm (1 metre) when fully collapsed, and it easily twists and extends out to a maximum length of 1600mm (1.6 metres) for reaching high ceilings.

Can I attach this brush to a longer pole?

Yes, absolutely. The brush head features a standardized commercial thread. You can unscrew it from the included 1.6m pole and screw it directly onto a massive 3-metre or 5-metre Edco Pro Pole for extreme high-reach warehouse cleaning.

Will this brush scratch my painted walls?

No. The thick synthetic bristles are designed to be firm enough to grab sticky cobwebs, but soft enough that they will not scratch delicate plasterboard, painted cornices, or ceiling drywall when used correctly.

Is this better than a microfiber duster for cobwebs?

Yes. Microfiber dusters are excellent for fine, dry dust. However, thick, sticky spiderwebs will severely tangle and ruin a microfiber cloth. This bristled cobweb brush aggressively rips the webs down and is much easier to clean afterward.

How do I clean the dust out of the brush?

For light dust, you can simply take it outside and tap the handle against a wall to shake the dust out. For heavy, sticky cobwebs, you can rinse the brush head under a tap with warm soapy water and hang it up to air dry.

Is the handle heavy to hold above my head?

Not at all. The included telescopic handle is manufactured from highly lightweight, thin-walled aluminum or steel tubing. It is explicitly designed to minimize wrist and shoulder fatigue when operating overhead for long periods.

Can I bend the brush back straight after using it?

Yes. The heavy-duty wire core is designed to be bent back and forth hundreds of times. You can bend it into a tight curve to clean a pipe, and then bend it perfectly straight again to sweep a flat wall.

Does it lock into place when extended?

Yes. The included telescopic pole uses a standard 'Twist-Lock' mechanism. You pull the pole out to your desired length, and simply twist the top section firmly to the right to lock it securely in place so it doesn't collapse while dusting.

Can I use this outdoors?

Absolutely. It is highly effective for sweeping thick cobwebs, dirt, and wasp nests from outdoor brickwork, exterior security cameras, high eaves, and outdoor patio lighting fixtures.

Do you offer trade pricing for commercial cleaners?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for commercial cleaning contractors, facility maintenance teams, and domestic cleaning businesses ordering bulk hardware. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
