Product Description

Cleanstar Chrome Curved Wand (38mm) – Heavy Duty Vacuum Hose Adapter (BCP038)

Upgrade the ergonomics and durability of your heavy-duty industrial vacuum with the premium Cleanstar Chrome Curved Wand (BCP038). In punishing industrial environments, cheap plastic vacuum handles crack, shatter, or wear away completely when subjected to heavy downward sweeping pressure. This ultra-durable vacuum hose adapter (often referred to as a Bent End Piece or BEP) is constructed entirely from heavy-duty chrome metal, guaranteeing an exceptionally long service life that easily outlasts standard plastic components on busy construction sites and warehouse floors.

Designed for maximum commercial airflow, this handle is engineered specifically for oversized 38mm vacuum systems. It connects directly to a 38mm hose cuff, providing a flawless, airtight transition from the flexible hose to your rigid metal extension rods. The ergonomic curved design provides a highly natural angle for the operator's wrist, drastically improving maneuverability and reducing forearm fatigue when scrubbing heavy debris from expansive concrete floors. Ensure your industrial extraction equipment remains virtually indestructible with these premium, heavy-duty commercial vacuum parts.

Who Is This Chrome Curved Wand Ideal For?

The Cleanstar BCP038 delivers heavy-duty chrome durability and oversized 38mm airflow. It is highly recommended for:

Construction & Tradespeople: Upgrading their industrial wet & dry vacuums with an indestructible metal vacuum hose adapter that won't shatter when dropped on concrete or run over by equipment.
Warehouse & Industrial Cleaners: Utilizing the oversized 38mm commercial diameter to effortlessly suck up large debris, wood chips, and gravel without the wand constantly blocking.
Appliance Repair Technicians: Sourcing highly reliable, universal commercial vacuum parts to permanently repair broken plastic handles on clients' heavy-duty commercial vacuums.
Facility & Janitorial Teams: Reducing operator fatigue during massive cleaning shifts by utilizing the ergonomic curved design, which provides a natural, comfortable sweeping angle.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Heavy-Duty Chrome Construction: Manufactured entirely from high-grade chrome metal. It will not crack, warp, or shatter like standard plastic handles, making it perfect for brutal industrial use.
Oversized 38mm Diameter: Specifically designed for large-bore 38mm commercial hoses and rods, maximizing airflow and allowing large debris to pass through without causing blockages.
Ergonomic Curved Design: The 'bent' shape provides a highly comfortable, natural angle for the wrist, drastically reducing hand cramps and shoulder fatigue during grueling, all-day cleaning shifts.
Airtight Secure Fitment: Engineered to connect tightly to 38mm hose cuffs and slide securely into 38mm extension wands, completely preventing frustrating suction leaks.
Universal Commercial Application: A highly versatile replacement part suitable for almost any brand of heavy-duty commercial or industrial vacuum that utilizes the 38mm accessory standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a 'Bent End Piece' (BEP)?

A Bent End Piece is the handle of the vacuum cleaner. It is the curved section of pipe that connects the flexible, ribbed vacuum hose to the long, straight metal wands that go down to the floor tool.

What does '38mm' mean?

38mm refers to the internal/external diameter of the connection points. Standard domestic vacuums use 32mm. 38mm is an oversized, heavy-duty industrial standard designed to suck up large debris (like gravel or wood shavings) without blocking.

Will this fit my standard Pacvac or Pullman backpack vacuum?

No. Standard commercial backpacks (like Pacvac Superpro or Pullman PV7) almost exclusively use the much smaller 32mm standard. This 38mm metal handle will be vastly too large to fit those machines.

Why choose chrome metal over plastic?

Durability. In an industrial workshop or construction site, vacuum handles are frequently dropped on concrete, stepped on, or pushed extremely hard into the floor. Plastic handles crack and shatter under this abuse. This chrome metal handle is virtually indestructible.

How do I attach this to my flexible vacuum hose?

This metal handle is designed to push tightly into a 38mm plastic 'Hose Cuff' that is already threaded onto the end of your flexible vacuum hose. It relies on a strong, airtight friction fit.

Does this handle have a suction relief valve?

No. Because it is manufactured from solid metal tubing for maximum durability, it does not feature the small sliding plastic air-relief valve often found on domestic plastic handles.

Will the chrome rust?

The chrome plating is highly resistant to rust and corrosion. However, if the chrome plating is heavily scratched or chipped by being dragged across concrete, the underlying metal may eventually oxidize if exposed to moisture.

How do I measure my current vacuum to see if this fits?

Measure straight across the circular opening of your long metal extension wands. You are measuring the INSIDE diameter. If the hole measures 38mm, this handle will push perfectly into it.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
