Product Description

Britex Deep Cleaning Grout & Tile Cleaner 1L – Hard Floor Restorer

Execute highly aggressive, deep-restorative hard floor extraction and effortlessly remove years of deeply ingrained soil with the highly formidable Britex Grout & Tile Cleaner (1L). In the demanding domestic and light-commercial cleaning sectors, standard daily mopping is entirely ineffective at removing heavy, compacted grease, soap scum, and black mold trapped deep within the porous, microscopic lines of floor grout. Attempting to lift this embedded soil manually with a tiny brush requires massive, exhausting physical labor. This professional-grade hard floor restorer provides the ultimate, high-potency chemical solution. Explicitly engineered to be used in conjunction with the Britex Hot Water Extraction Machine, this powerful formula actively penetrates the grout lines, emulsifying stubborn contamination so it can be blasted and extracted by the heavy-duty machine.

Designed for absolute worksite productivity and unparalleled operator safety, the Britex Grout & Tile Cleaner is formulated entirely free from harsh, highly toxic industrial solvents, ensuring it is completely 'Family Safe' for deployment in residential homes and pet-friendly environments. Leaving behind a flawlessly clean, completely streak-free finish on ceramic and porcelain tiles, and emitting a highly refreshing Lavender fragrance, these premium commercial cleaning supplies provide homeowners and DIY renovators with an indispensable, highly economical asset. A single 1-Litre bottle provides enough concentrated chemical to deep-clean up to 60 square meters of hard flooring, completely revitalizing the visual presentation of massive living areas.

Who Is The Britex Grout & Tile Cleaner Ideal For?

The Britex Grout Cleaner delivers a highly concentrated extraction formula, a safe family-friendly profile, and a massive 60m² coverage capacity. It is highly recommended for:

Domestic Households & DIY Renovators: Utilizing a highly robust, machine-compatible hard floor restorer to execute aggressive annual deep-cleans on heavy-traffic kitchen tiles and massive living room floors, restoring the original color of the black, dirty grout lines effortlessly.
Pet Owners & Families: Relying on the 'Family Safe' formulation. The chemical actively strips heavy muddy paw prints, dropped food grease, and bacteria from porous grout without leaving a highly toxic, burning chemical residue on the floor where children crawl.
Rental Property Managers & Tenants: Taking absolute advantage of the massive 60 square meter coverage. Tenants executing an end-of-lease clean can efficiently deep-scrub the entire house's tiled areas with a single 1L bottle, ensuring the full return of their security bond.
Light Commercial Cleaners: Deploying premium commercial cleaning supplies through their hot water extraction machines. The streak-free formula ensures that highly reflective porcelain tiles dry to a brilliant, flawless shine without requiring manual towel-buffing.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Hot Water Extraction Optimized: The ultimate restoration advantage. This chemical is not for a standard mop bucket. It is explicitly formulated to work flawlessly inside the high-pressure fluid tank of a Britex Hot Water Extraction Machine (using the Grout & Tile wand), preventing excessive foaming that destroys vacuum motors.
Deep-Penetrating Grout Action: Maximizes worksite efficiency. The targeted surfactants are engineered to lower the surface tension of the water. This allows the hot liquid to soak deep into the porous cement of the grout lines, melting heavy soap scum, mold, and cooking grease instantly.
Flawless Streak-Free Finish: Prioritizes visual presentation. Standard domestic floor soaps leave a sticky film that acts like glue for new dirt. This advanced formula evaporates cleanly, ensuring the ceramic tiles maintain their original, high-gloss shine long after the machine has extracted the water.
Family Safe & Non-Toxic: Protects operator health. By completely removing highly corrosive caustic soda and toxic industrial solvents from the formula, Britex provides a vastly safer working environment for homeowners, completely mitigating severe chemical burn risks.
Refreshing Lavender Fragrance: Enhances the indoor environment. It completely neutralizes the stale smell of wet dirt and mold lifted from the grout, replacing it with a clean, highly pleasant lavender scent that signals the house has been professionally detailed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use this product with a standard mop and bucket?

While it will technically clean the floor, it is NOT designed for a mop. It is a highly specialized, low-foaming extraction chemical explicitly formulated to be pumped through the high-pressure jets of a Britex Hot Water Extraction Machine.

Do I need to dilute this product?

YES. This is a highly concentrated 1-Litre bottle. You must gently shake the bottle, pour exactly 3 capfuls of the chemical into 'Tank B' of the Britex Cleaning Machine, and fill the rest of the tank (9L) with hot tap water.

How much floor space will one bottle clean?

When diluted correctly (3 capfuls per 9L tank), a single 1-Litre bottle of Britex Grout & Tile Cleaner provides enough chemical to deep-clean an absolutely massive 60 square meters of flooring (approximately 3 average-sized bedrooms).

Is this safe to use on polished Marble or Natural Stone?

Absolutely NOT. The manufacturer explicitly warns against using this aggressive deep-cleaner on sensitive, porous natural stone (like marble, limestone, or slate) or any raw, unsealed timber surfaces, as it may cause permanent chemical etching or water damage.

Can I use this machine and chemical to clean my carpets?

No! This specific chemical and the Grout & Tile wand attachment with the brush are strictly for hard, tiled floors. The heavy brush and alkaline chemical will severely damage wool, cotton, nylon, and standard carpets. You must use the dedicated Britex Carpet chemicals for soft fabrics.

Will this product kill black mold in my bathroom?

While the deep-cleaning surfactants are highly effective at physically lifting heavy soap scum and surface mold out of the grout lines, it is not a dedicated, high-strength chlorine bleach. For severe, deeply stained black mold, you may need a targeted mold killer first.

Does it leave a sticky residue on the tiles?

No. This is a massive advantage of the Britex formulation. It is explicitly engineered for a 'Streak-Free' finish. Because the machine instantly extracts the dirty water back up, the floor is left flawlessly clean without a dulling, sticky chemical film.

Should I put boiling water in the machine tank?

No. You should use standard 'Hot Tap Water' (usually around 50°C to 60°C). Pouring actively boiling water from a kettle directly into the plastic tanks of the extraction machine will warp, melt, and permanently destroy the expensive internal pumps and seals.

Why is the floor incredibly slippery after cleaning?

This is a critical safety warning. When ceramic or porcelain tiles are wet with the chemical solution, they become exceptionally slick, creating a severe slip hazard. You must always 'work backwards' out of the room so you do not step on the freshly wet, clean floor.

Can I mix this with bleach to make it stronger?

Absolutely, unequivocally NOT. You must NEVER mix commercial extraction detergents with raw chlorine bleach or any other harsh chemicals. Mixing chemicals can instantly create highly toxic, lethal gas or cause a violent reaction that destroys the machine.

What does 'Family Safe' mean?

It means the chemical formulation has been strictly engineered without highly toxic industrial solvents, severe caustics, or heavy ammonia, ensuring it is significantly safer to use in enclosed residential homes around crawling infants and pets.

Do you offer trade pricing for end-of-lease cleaners?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for domestic cleaning contractors, end-of-lease cleaning specialists, and property managers ordering bulk carpet and tile extraction chemicals. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
