Product Description

Agar Methylated Spirit Spray Bottle (500ml) – Chemical Spray Bottle

Guarantee absolute worksite safety, strictly enforce OH&S chemical compliance, and completely eradicate the severe hazards of handling highly flammable liquids with the robust Agar Methylated Spirit Spray Bottle (500ml). In commercial glass cleaning, medical sterilization, and industrial residue removal, decanting pure, highly volatile methylated spirits into cheap, unmarked supermarket spray bottles is a catastrophic, highly illegal safety violation. The lack of clear warning labels severely endangers staff, and the aggressive solvents instantly warp cheap plastic. This premium, commercial-grade chemical spray bottle is specifically engineered to safely house potent solvents. It features a highly robust 500ml clear plastic chassis that effortlessly survives brutal drops from fast-moving janitorial carts without cracking or leaking dangerous, flammable fluids.

Designed explicitly for professional integration with Agar Methylated Spirit, this bottle features a prominent, permanently screen-printed dilution guide and vital, highly visible safety information directly on the exterior. This completely eliminates dangerous guesswork and ensures staff are constantly aware of the fire hazards associated with the chemical. Fully compatible with NAB chemical-resistant, color-coded trigger heads (sold separately), this essential cleaning spray bottle allows facility managers to instantly implement a highly effective, color-coded cross-contamination prevention system across their entire cleaning fleet.

*Note: This listing is for the clear 500ml Printed Bottle ONLY. The color-coded trigger heads must be purchased separately.

Who Is The Agar Methylated Spirit Spray Bottle Ideal For?

This 500ml printed bottle delivers high chemical resistance and built-in safety guides. It is highly recommended for:

Commercial Window Cleaners: Utilizing a clearly labeled chemical spray bottle to safely hold highly concentrated, rapid-evaporating methylated spirits, ensuring staff can rapidly detail massive glass balustrades and high-rise windows without streaking.
Hospital & Healthcare Cleaners: Relying on the highly durable, lightweight 500ml plastic design to comfortably carry liquid solvent to instantly sterilize high-touch stainless steel medical equipment and wipe away sticky adhesive residues.
Contract Cleaning Companies: Ensuring strict compliance with OH&S regulations regarding the decanting of highly flammable bulk chemicals by providing staff with professional cleaning spray bottles featuring clear, permanent safety data.
Industrial & Workshop Detailers: Implementing a strict color-coded cleaning system (by adding colored NAB triggers) to guarantee that highly flammable solvents are easily identifiable and never accidentally sprayed near open flames or grinding sparks.

Key Features and Performance Benefits:

Printed Safety & Usage Guide: The absolute ultimate safety feature for flammable liquids. The bottle features permanently screen-printed health warnings and usage charts, guaranteeing staff are instantly aware of the extreme fire hazards and correct application methods.
Extreme Chemical Resistance: Solvents destroy cheap plastic instantly. This bottle is manufactured from premium, high-density clear polymer specifically engineered to safely hold highly aggressive methylated spirits without the plastic clouding, warping, or dissolving.
Optimized 500ml Capacity: The perfect ergonomic size. It holds enough chemical to detail massive commercial windows or remove heavy sticker residue without becoming too heavy and causing severe wrist fatigue for the operator during an 8-hour shift.
Supports Color-Coded Triggers: Designed to fit standard NAB commercial triggers. You can attach a specific colored trigger to instantly identify it, perfectly adhering to strict HACCP cross-contamination standards in food or medical environments.
Clear Visibility: The transparent plastic construction allows the operator to instantly see exactly how much chemical solution is left inside the bottle, preventing them from running out halfway through detailing a massive glass facade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this bottle come with the spray trigger?

No. This specific listing is strictly for the clear, printed 500ml plastic bottle ONLY. You must purchase the commercial trigger head separately, which allows you to choose the exact color you need for your cleaning system.

Why shouldn't I just use a cheap spray bottle from the supermarket?

Cheap domestic bottles use thin plastic that breaks easily. More importantly, Methylated Spirits is a highly aggressive solvent that will melt cheap plastic and destroy cheap trigger springs. Also, using an 'unmarked' bottle for a highly flammable chemical violates strict OH&S safety laws.

What is the 'Dilution Guide' printed on the bottle?

Methylated spirits can be used neat (100%) for removing heavy glue, or diluted with water for streak-free window cleaning. The chart on the side of this bottle shows you exactly how to mix it safely and effectively for different tasks.

Will the printing wash off if the bottle gets covered in solvent?

No. The safety information and dilution guides are permanently screen-printed onto the heavy-duty plastic using highly durable, solvent-resistant ink, ensuring the vital safety warnings remain legible even after months of abuse.

Is 500ml too small for commercial use?

500ml is actually the preferred, highly ergonomic size for handheld trigger sprayers. 1-Litre bottles become incredibly heavy when full and cause severe wrist and forearm fatigue when the trigger is squeezed hundreds of times a day. 500ml provides the perfect balance.

What thread size is the top of the bottle?

The bottle features an industry-standard 28mm commercial neck thread. This ensures it perfectly accepts all major brands of heavy-duty commercial triggers, including the highly popular, long-lasting NAB chemical-resistant trigger kits.

Can I put Bleach into this specific bottle?

Physically yes, but legally NO. This specific bottle is clearly screen-printed and labeled for 'Agar Methylated Spirit'. Putting highly toxic bleach into a bottle labeled for flammable solvent is a massive safety violation and highly illegal in commercial workplaces.

Is the plastic completely clear?

It is a clear/translucent plastic. This allows the janitor to instantly look at the bottle and see exactly how much chemical solution remains inside, so they know exactly when to head back to the cleaner's room for a refill.

What does 'Color-Coded' mean in commercial cleaning?

It is a strict hygiene standard to prevent cross-contamination. You use different colored triggers for different areas. By adding a specific trigger to this bottle, you guarantee it is only used for windows and never confused with heavy-duty bathroom cleaners.

Can I use this bottle for other brands of methylated spirits?

Physically, yes, it will hold any brand of methylated spirits safely. However, the usage ratios printed on the side are specifically mathematically calibrated for Agar brand chemicals. If you use a different brand, their required mixing ratios may differ.

Is the bottle recyclable?

Yes. Once the plastic bottle reaches the end of its massive commercial lifespan, it must be thoroughly rinsed out with water, after which it can be placed into standard commercial plastic recycling bins.

Do you offer trade pricing for cleaning companies?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides highly competitive volume pricing and trade accounts for commercial cleaning contractors, hospitality venues, and facility managers ordering bulk empty bottles and triggers. Contact us to establish your account.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
