Actichem Hypo Enforcer Chlorine Booster & Activator (AP728)

Maximize the reactive efficiency of commercial bleach with Actichem Hypo Enforcer (AP728). Standard sodium hypochlorite (pool chlorine) often struggles to penetrate porous building materials, leaving deep-seated mold roots intact and resulting in rapid re-growth. This professional-grade chlorine booster and activator is engineered specifically for disaster remediation specialists. When mixed directly with 12.5% sodium hypochlorite, it chemically activates the chlorine, dramatically accelerating its oxidative power and enabling the rapid, total destruction of heavy mold and biological contamination.

Beyond chemical activation, Hypo Enforcer features advanced super-wetting technology. This lowers the surface tension of the chlorine, allowing it to penetrate deeply into porous masonry, sub-floors, and roof cavities where mold hyphae physically embed themselves. By driving the activated chlorine to the absolute source of the contamination, this mold remediation additive guarantees superior stain clearance and ensures reliable post-remediation reporting for structural drying and restoration contractors.

Ideal For:

  • Disaster Remediation: The definitive chemical additive for professional mold remediation, ensuring the complete destruction of mold roots in flooded and uninhabited buildings.
  • Structural Cavity Cleaning: Penetrates deeply into highly porous sub-floors, masonry, and roof cavities where standard liquid chlorine fails to reach.
  • Exterior Hard Surfaces: Rapidly clears severe biological staining, algae, and mold from exterior concrete pathways, landscape structures, and tiled roofs.

Key Features & Operational Benefits:

  • Enhanced Chlorine Activation: Strips away the built-in stabilization of standard pool chlorine, instantly releasing its maximum oxidative power for faster, more effective biological destruction.
  • Super-Wetting Technology: Allows the bleach solution to grip and absorb into porous substrates rather than beading up and rolling off, ensuring deep root and hyphae penetration.
  • Rapid Stain Removal: The accelerated oxidation process bleaches out severe, dark mold stains almost instantly upon application, improving visual clearance outcomes.
  • Professional Dilution Economy: Highly concentrated for commercial use, requiring only 1 Litre of Hypo Enforcer per 15 Litres of 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite.

Technical Specifications:

  • Brand: Actichem
  • Product Code: AP728
  • Product Type: Chlorine Booster and Activator

What does a 'Chlorine Booster' do?

Liquid chlorine is chemically stabilized so it lasts longer on the shelf. This stabilization stops it from releasing its full power when applied to surfaces. A booster 'activates' the chlorine, forcing it to release all of its oxidative power instantly for maximum mold destruction.

Why does chlorine fail to kill mold on porous surfaces?

Standard chlorine has high surface tension; it sits on top of porous materials (like brick and wood) and only bleaches the surface of the mold. Hypo Enforcer contains 'super-wetting' agents that force the chlorine deep into the pores to kill the hidden mold roots (hyphae).

How do I mix Hypo Enforcer?

Mix exactly 1 Litre of Hypo Enforcer into 15 Litres of commercial 12.5% Sodium Hypochlorite (pool chlorine). Mix the solution thoroughly before applying it to the contaminated surface.

Can I use this on carpets or curtains?

Absolutely NOT. Activated 12.5% sodium hypochlorite is incredibly aggressive and will instantly destroy, bleach, and rot carpets, fabrics, and sensitive indoor textiles. It is strictly for structural remediation (wood framing, masonry, concrete).

How long should I leave it on the mold?

For standard disinfection, a dwell time of 1 minute is required. For heavy mold remediation and deep root destruction, allow the activated solution to dwell on the surface for at least 10 minutes.

Do I need to rinse the surface afterwards?

Yes, where structurally possible, the treated area should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water to remove the heavy salt and chemical residue left behind by the oxidation process.

Is this product hazardous?

Yes. It is classified as 'Danger' under safety regulations. When mixing and applying activated chlorine, operators must wear full commercial PPE, including chemical respirators, heavy-duty gloves, and protective eyewear.

Do you offer trade pricing for disaster remediation teams?

Yes, Freshway Supplies provides volume pricing and trade accounts for restoration specialists, water damage contractors, and commercial cleaners. Contact us to establish your account.
