Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in a Kress Outdoor Power Equipment Kit?

A Kress kit is a complete, ready-to-use bundle. It includes the bare tool (e.g., a lawn mower, blower, or trimmer), the correctly sized lithium-ion battery to maximize its performance, and a compatible AC wall charger. You do not need to buy any additional power components to start working.

Is it cheaper to buy a Kress kit or buy the tool and battery separately?

Buying a bundled Kress kit is significantly more cost-effective. Manufacturers heavily discount the battery and charger when packaged with the tool. Once you own a kit, you can save money in the future by purchasing 'Skin Only' (bare tools) and running them off your existing kit battery.

Are Kress 60V kits as powerful as my old petrol equipment?

Absolutely. The Kress 60V commercial platform is engineered to match and often exceed the peak torque of a 30cc 2-stroke petrol engine. You get the aggressive cutting power you are used to, but with zero emissions, zero fuel costs, and push-button reliability.

What is the difference between Kress 20V, 40V, and 60V kits?

The voltage determines the power tier and intended application:

20V: Lightweight and highly agile; perfect for small courtyards and light residential trimming.
40V: Excellent balance of power and weight; ideal for standard suburban lawns and garden maintenance.
60V: Uncompromising commercial power; built for heavy-duty landscaping, long grass, and daily professional use.

Can I use the battery from my Kress kit in other Kress tools?

Yes. Kress batteries are 100% cross-compatible within their specific voltage class. The 60V battery included in your lawn mower kit will perfectly power a 60V Kress chainsaw, line trimmer, or leaf blower.

How fast do Kress batteries charge in these kits?

The charging speed depends on the charger included in the kit. A standard AC wall charger typically takes 45 to 60 minutes to recharge a battery. However, commercial kits utilizing the Kress CyberTank ecosystem can flash-charge specific CyberPack batteries from 0% to 100% in a groundbreaking 8 minutes.

Do Kress brushless motors require any maintenance?

No. Unlike traditional electric motors that use physical carbon brushes (which wear out and need replacing), Kress brushless motors use an electronic magnetic field. This eliminates internal friction, meaning the motor runs cooler, generates more torque, and is virtually 100% maintenance-free.

Will a Kress kit battery suffer from 'power fade' as it drains?

No. Kress batteries feature an advanced, integrated Battery Management System (BMS). This ensures a perfectly flat power curve. Your Kress tool will cut or blow with the exact same aggressive force at 10% battery capacity as it does when fully charged.

Are Kress cordless tools safe to use in noise-restricted areas?

Yes. Kress cordless equipment is significantly quieter than petrol equivalents. For example, Kress blowers feature proprietary QuietStorm™ technology, which drastically reduces operating decibels, allowing you to work outside hospitals, schools, and strata complexes without violating noise ordinances.

How should I store my Kress battery and charger kit during winter?

To protect the long-term health of the lithium-ion cells, you should never store the battery completely flat (0%) or entirely full (100%). Charge or discharge the battery to approximately 40% to 50% capacity, and store it indoors in a cool, dry place away from freezing temperatures.

Does Freshway offer bulk trade pricing for Kress kits?

Yes. Freshway Supplies operates as a dedicated B2B equipment distributor. We offer highly competitive, tailored wholesale trade pricing for commercial landscapers, local municipal councils, and facility management groups looking to transition their fleet to Kress battery power.

How fast is delivery for Kress equipment kits across Australia?

Freshway provides rapid next-day delivery across the Sydney metro area, and highly secure, fully tracked heavy-freight shipping for all Kress kits to all states, territories, and regional areas across Australia, typically arriving within 1 to 4 business days.

They earned it! I hardly ever leave reviews, but Abe absolutely deserves this one.

I rang ready to spend nearly $2,000. Unfortunately, the item wasn’t in stock for pickup and would take seven days to arrive. Abe said he’d call me back.

Five minutes later, he had found one in stock at another business in Parramatta — and negotiated the same discount for me there.
He had just lost the sale, yet he was genuinely happy he could help. That says everything.

This is how an excellent reputation is earned: day by day, customer by customer. Could not possibly ask for more.

Thank you, Abe — AWESOME service!
