Skin Only means you are purchasing just the bare backpack vacuum cleaner unit and its hoses/wands. It does NOT include the lithium-ion battery or the battery charger. You must buy those separately or use the batteries from your existing Makita 40V XGT power tools.

Can I use my 18V Makita batteries on this vacuum?

When using a high-capacity 40V battery, you will get approximately 14 minutes of continuous, non-stop cleaning on the absolute Maximum (Stage 4) suction setting. You will get significantly more runtime on the lower eco-settings used for hard floors.

Do I have to buy paper dust bags for this machine?

No. The VC008G includes a highly convenient 1.5-Litre reusable cloth dust bag. You simply unzip it, empty the dirt into a bin, and reuse it, saving you massive amounts of money on consumables.

Does it come with a telescopic wand?
